There is a difference between having to run for cover trying to avoid a strike, and simply being told out of the blue that you're out. IMO the second alternative takes away from the game...

However, in the real world one can hear the arty shells before they hit the ground so it is not so unrealistic to run for cover (The GM is the sound :D )
I say let the players run for cover, it adds an element to the game. Just leave it to the discretion of the GM to "kill" players as he sees fit.

@mmilia I can quote you almost word for word for incidents involving Poldavians, really! Teams of walking wounded (not dead), live ones hiding between wounded or dead and firing while walking with them, telling me to F@#k off when calling them on it... good and bad players everywhere. There is no NA...

With a little easy organizing one could introduce many nice things to do with medics. They could, just a thought, carry wound cards describing several types of wounds/shots, from headshot to a simple scratch, and accordingly healing time. You lay wounded, medic comes, takes out a card and your fate ...

The pre paid meals is a great idea, I agree. I actually had none of the meals I paid for because we were never on base when they were brought up and had no idea if and where I could find them when I returned to base. I think a simple note on the kiosk "Pre paid meals will be stored in the HQ" or sim...

The French MREs (that started this thread) do include heater + 6 fuel tablets as long as the package is in tact.
Just received 4 of them

Has anybody encountered any problems transporting (via air or road transport) batteries?
I contacted an express company and although transporting the guns is not an issue they are unsure and checking what the status about LiPo batteries is.
Any ideas/suggestions?
