My best Berget experience ever was Berget 8, also at Sollefteå. As mountaineer (infantry). I don't see why it's not a good game area for infantry.

If the village had been part of the actual game, and not effectively off-game for anyone but larpers, then things would probably be a bit more varied.

Big flags on the tops of vehicles to aid in aerial recognition is actually pretty milsim. Will keep it in mind for next year!

In that case I think the solid color team would end up way undermanned compared to the camo pattern team. Most people will pick the side where their primary kit belongs (and some people only have that one kit) - very few are willing to invest in a new kit just for Berget (or any other game), even if...

Tracking would be nice for the BAAS, but perhaps not for the BAVS. Theres a ton of camos to choose from, why cant you just go with multicam or something. D: Because some players might already have a complete kit in another camo. A new multicam uniform might be cheap, but that would still mean not getting to use the complete kit you've spent a lot of time and money...
