Re: Berget 18 - General Feedback

In past years we have struggled, fought, and argued to allow recon teams and other 'special' non-sniper teams to wear anything more than head-cover in the sense of ghillie camouflage, with the end result being allowed scrim netting covering head, shoulders, and a bit of arm. So it stung a little to ...

AFAIK Berget has never been a milsim. And it has never been the intention by BE to be one
Indeed, it has MilSim aspects and more MilSim-alinged units, but the game as a whole has never been a full-on milsim

Suggestion: dedicated specialist units

An idea based on the sapper unit. Usually engineers and medics are scattered throuhgout the infantry units, 1 each per squad. However, this makes a decently scaled casualty collection point or large mine breach operation an organisationel nightmare as you'd have to pull all medics or engineers from ...

Re: Feedback - BAVS

The BAVS are indeed a bit OP. Longer reload times, maybe a flash of light so a 'rocket launch' doesn't stay overly sneaky, maybe a sound module, ... It's too easy to shoot 'a rocket' at a vehicle without being noticed, which makes a proper response far more difficult. Also, like Verage said, fully e...

A general observation, I know it was in favour of game mechanics but still:

Suggestion: Improving mine rules

Short version: Mines should have a reflective element (for example, reflective tape around the edge of the smaller plate) for night-time visibility. Context: After the final battle a last push was made to interfere with GCT nuke-possession. During this assault, several vehicles drove over mines due ...

Re: Feedback - BAVS

Tracking would be nice for the BAAS, but perhaps not for the BAVS. AT4s are a ballistic weapon, you miss or you don't :P Some form of flash would be a great addition, to give the rest of the convoy an idea where the shot came from and react accordingly. A warning signal would just lead to some real ...

Re: Feedback - General

Good game, loved the AC in HQ, 10/10 would sleep in sofa again. Many of the good points have already been said, same for the lesser ones. From Red HQ's point of view, the balancing did feel over the top, but most of the frontline players I've talked to didn't really notice as much as we did, and som...

Re: Court of Lirantia

I see people RP'ing in this thread so I'd like to preface this as a non-RP response, but I'm pretty sure the story page on the website says the country is Lirantina, instead of Lirantia.

Which is a very important thing when ordering patches or printwork.

Re: Mountaineers Recce information. Aka RANGERS

We aren't goat herders You are aware that several fine Mountaineering regiments do exist? Gebirgsjäger, Ardeense Jagers, Brigade d'Infanterie de Montagne,... ? Jaysus mate. @Clarkson: I can see your point, but it is important to realise that in several interactions unit name do matter. If cobra mem...

Re: Feedback: Berget Anti-Vehicle system (BAVS)

Oh also, the AT4s could use an extra safety, some extra switch to manipulate or something, because even with the added ridges negligent discharges were still a thing.

Re: Feedback: New Kiosks

Friendly staff, very helpful, nothing to complain on that part. Menu was good, as was the supply of food before running out of anything. My only gripes could be that the tent at UPIR base did indeed not have lighting, which was more of an inconvenience than a real problem, and that the staff weren't...
