Re: Veteran Poll - Best Berget You Attended

You say that " taking control of game area and vital roads " was enjoyed, but how was it more enjoyed than what it is now? And i dont just mean berget 16, but also earlier where we used CPs for objectives such as Crossroads. What has changed in your opinion, and what is it that makes it less fun no...

Re: Veteran Poll - Best Berget You Attended

Personally, I really really enjoyed Berget 8 in 2010. It was at Sollefteå, same area as this year and last year. This was, I think, the first year they used a Dark Woodland VS Tan/Desert uniform split, and the first year of NAF vs Poldavia. This made the two sides visually distinct from each other, ...

Veteran Poll - Best Berget You Attended

(The poll would only let me add 15 options, so I skipped B1) Now, there are some of us who've attended 10 Berget games, or even more. In your opinion, which was the best you ever attended? Please also add your thoughts on why that particular game was so great. Was it anything BE did with missions, r...

But real talk, I've participated in 6/7 berget events and these armbands have been the worst I've ever seen distributed.
The B14 armbands were actually even worse :P

Re: Old Berget patches.

I think Berget X was the first to have actual Berget Patches, before then there were only unit patches made by players.
At least that's all I've got.

Re: Feedback: Missions

I would have like to see more focus on dominating the battlefield (which could include taking and holding CP's - I like the CP system) rather than "do X because mission, then come back and wait." It felt a bit too much like a big game of whack-a-mole rather than a contiuous symmetrical war, which in...

Re: Your best Berget 16 moments

I've got 3 great moments, that all started out kinda bad: Best moment 1: The bad stuff - On thursday my platoon passed by the village, one of the Swedish cars got a window shot out, and understandably the Swedish teams and their three cars all went off-game back to base. I think many of you know of ...

Re: HPA and the future

Joule creep is the biggest problem. My P* M27 is 301fps @0.20 and 348 fps(equvalent) with 0.30's. This year my m249 chronoed at 120ms with 0.20 and 138(equvalent) with 0.30 longbows. With a decent 22rps. None of my regs were ziptied (i ziptied them myself..) or Notting. Chronoing with joules with 0...

Re: HPA and the future

Its not a merc issue, its a player issue. I never said it's a merc thing, I said it's a people not policeing players on their own team-thing. Which in this case was mercs. Only the guys around the one shooting through the window - other merc players - had any chance of identifying his armband numbe...

Re: Feedback: Factories and capture point system

Yeah, the TF was the fort from last year, I think.
The little forts/factories themselves was fine - but holding them to control the tanks was a game-y gimmick that I seriously didn't like.

Re: Feedback: Factories and capture point system

Controlling factories to get control of the tanks was a bad gimmick. I would not like to see it return next year.

Otherwise the CP's worked fine.

Re: Feedback: New Kiosks

The kiosk was fine. Good job by the kids from the local hockey team! It's common here in Norway too for clubs and teams to do work like that to get more money for their activities. Been there, done that. It's always a drag. But these kids were in good spirits all game through, which is seriously imp...

Re: Feedback: Bases

Everything was fine, except for one thing being so bad I have to rate the whole thing TERRIBLE. Tuesday evening, on the way up to the game and still a few hours away, we get a message from a team mate already on site. "All the Berget tents are full" Wait, what? But we booked tent space with our tick...

Re: HPA and the future

When I chrono my HPA i asked about the tournament lock. the answer i got back was that they wrote down my pressure & M/S and my booking no. thats all. got a bit confused also. Honestly I think that's the way to do it (if BE can keep track of all the guns/players - which is another question). Person...
