I haven't owned an AEG in a while now that I have the GHK. I remember the vfc 416 being a pretty common gun on the field. I do like my HK stuff like my mp7...

Re: Practicality of a GBBR for Berget
I've had friends who brought GBBRs to large games (not as ambitious as Berget, but still): do yourself a favor and BRING ALL OF THE TOOLS YOU MAY NEED TO REPAIR IT. If you can, bring a couple spare gas valves as well. GBBRs have matured since they first appeared, but they're still on the lower end of reliability. I'm planning to bring spare parts for my AEG and an entire second gun should the first one break too seriously, so I'd do the same, if not more, with a GBBR.
Oh, and 4+1x40rds might be enough if you're in a relatively inactive zone, but if it gets too hot around you, you may well run out of ammo quite fast; even "real guys" bring more to the field than 200 rounds. Of course, I know, GBBR mags cost an arm and a leg, but it's better than having no fun playing because you run out of ammo all the time.
But well, that may be my machine gun-friendly self who's talking, I'm always afraid of running out of ammo
