LOVE IT!

Just think of the great scenario opportunities this creates for next year:

You
1) executed an unarmend UNITED NATIONS pow, an officer mind you
2) ordered the indiscriminate slaughter of an entire town

Next year, the UN passes a resolution to bring Poldavian Army leadership to justice for warcrimes commited in Janco.

UD (United Democra) Special Forces support the NAF insurgency while a larger NATO force is deployed to invade Poldavia and overthrow the tirant government.

Tension rises as neighbouring Lirania sides with Poldavia and opens the border for their feared black ops unit and a terrorist group supposedly in possesion of nuclear weapons...
That's not even all of it. I, one of the bank guards, was suppoed to be married to one of the Poldavian commanders to create a pact between the bank and the poldavian forces (mostly for lots of fun LARP possibilities) (it had already been settled).
I tried to tell the guards outside the chuch this but I was too late. I stood in the doorway as they called the command to fire.

I would say that we can leave the stereotypes and generalizations to other place. It's not fair to label italians or Russians. :?

And it get better yet...while the whole world is on the brink of nuclear war a top level Poldavian officer swears to avenge his wife (I'm gonna assume you're a lady as all Polly CO's were guys afaik, my apologies if I'm mistaken)....

Vittex you're gonna have a fun character to play next year. This could go straight into a Tom Clancy novel.

Plottwist/spoiler - highlight to read.

Bonus points for the writers if the wife shows up on the NAF side because they rescued her from under the church rubble...

To the BE crew, if you're looking for scenario writers, just gimme a call :P

Still i wasn´t captured buy "first-wave". I was captured AFTER you blowned the church, and it was one of your norweigian platoon. Perhaps it was lucky they were late??? ;-)
We have taken two UN men from bank. One of them looked like an officer.
I have not identified one of them exactly as an UN commander(probably it was).
And the incident with knifekill of this officer was right on my eyes.
And that happened before I gave orders to gather all Civs in Church.
Anyway there was some kind of mess and disorder in the city at that time. That's why I decided to take all civilians in one controlled place. And I was afraid of new provocations from some Civilian guys.
Vitex, the explanation of the execution of the UN officer you took prisoner (actually UN Military Police boss) by the mobsters running the hotel&casino can be found here:
viewtopic.php?p=51586#51586

What do you think, would you have acted differently have you had known the background of the murder?
Exactly.
I did know nothing about this background.
And I saw only the act of aggression in this murder, because I though that this mobster just trying to prevent the capture of UN officer in such way.

That's great, I'm looking forward to next years scenarios/storyline :D
All the opportunity's....

Think about it, the Poldavian commander comes straight out of a Tom Clancy novel, sworn enact revenge on the bastard that murdered the love of his life in cold blood and then his hope is restored, spoiler, and he is forced to betray his beloved Poldavia to trade the NAF information in the hope of ever seeing his beloved again...

I'm gonna write a more detailed scenario outline tomorrow just for the heck of it.

At least you got one of the stoves, I bet you enjoyed a dry, nice, warm and cozy tent.
Ours was soaked from all the moisture and drying things was impossible ^^,
I like the odds stacked against me though ;)

Dima, just to make the UN guy incident clear:
- the guy was NOT the UN commander, he was the boss of UN Military Police (and a. very corrupt one)
- we hated him because he was trying to extort protection from us
- I personally paid one of the Russian Poldavians to brings us this guy once they captured him
- I personally shot him with a. 44 magnum and one of my guys knifekilled him so that he couldn't be healed.
This shows how far you might from correctly understanding whats going on even though you're convinced you know whats going on.
Yeah, that's called a fog of war :).
But as i've mentioned in the first post, i tried to describe how it looked from our side.

Again, I was the CO UN MP. and I LOVED this incident ! It was great to be hit and brutaly killed like that. Shook both guys hands afterwards , and thanked them both for a good moment

Vitex: The intel on the UN officer being in the bank actually came from the bank security.

We had arranged for one of our guards (Kii) to marry one of your commanders.

As a part of that we had also planned to help you by blowing the UN satellite dish up but it turned out our massive bomb wasn't real. So instead we told the commander about the UN officers inside the bank.

Sadly enough, you were faster than us, cause about 30 seconds after we called him, you started breaking in to the bank. Thats why our other guards did their best to protect the bank since we didn't have the time to telll them what was going on.

Finally, when you blew the church up, all civilians was tired of the poldavians coming there causing problems.

It's actually pretty funny. The bank personnel tried their hardest to help the poldavian army. We went to your base 2 times to relay some intel. We also helped you out in the field by capturing empty bunkers. But every time you came to janco, it always resulted in civilians getting shot, which then caused us to somehow getting you to leave the town.
