Going alone?

I'm planning on going to berget 2019, but I'm somewhat concerned on going alone. How does the squad system work, will I be put in a squad on site, or do I need to find myself my own squad before/during the game?

I'd suggest to go to your HQ upon arrival to ask which platoon would be best for you, then go to the platoon leader of the assigned platoon and have him assign you to a squad. Then just go to the tent the squad is in and take an open spot as your personal piece of paradise.

Prepare to spend about an hour in the process as you tend to have a small chat with every guy/gal you talk to. Sounds like a lot of work, but in the process you get to know the chain of command and fellow players.

Also, be active in your teams forum once we open them.

Usually comand when chosen do the sorting of players in to company and platoon etc before gamestart. These will normally also be posted on the forums way in advance. So if you keep an eye on the team forums you will most likely have been placed in a group before and only need to follow the instructions given by your chosen company comander etc.

Depends which team you are going for, but generally you won't need it unless you play in one of the LARP teams.

If your squad mates had beans for breakfast, yes.

Otherwise it‘ll be way too hot to march with a gasmask on
