next Years Videos
Hey I view all of these videos and i note they're all one sided. it would be cool to have a neutral next time that can cross lines during a battle and get both sides. Also it would be cool on a lot of these videos to have a narrator like maybe the commander of the detachment when he's available. Thanks
You are thinking something like this?

This is from a game I ran in Norway in 2007, with a dedicated ingame roleplay news crew. The whole film is about an hour long, and has some sound effects added (staying in the "news report" style). It is also in norwegian, but still a good watch if you have an hour spare..
The sides here are seperated by the one side being in Norwegian uniforms, and the other side in "everything else".

Well exactly I would do the same my self if I filmed a video (which I need to do next time we just seem to have problems getting it done) , I'm just saying they should do it at Berget where someone is clearly marked like with an Orange vest, reflective PT belt, orange construction helmet or something (I have and would use those things).
By the way ,how large was/is this event you did in your video? Who are the factions and is this similar to Berget in any way, like do you actually sell tickets? thanks.

weekend game, started with people turning up friday for registrasjon and stuff like that. And game play from 10-23 on saturday, and about 4 hours on sunday. Followed by about 3 hours of cleaning the whole place up so the Army would let us come back
The storyline for OP Pinky 1-5 where all set in the same "conflict" with Redland and Blueland being to countries that have been fighting each other all the time. For OP Pinky VI this summer we started a new storyline, set in a fictional ex sovjet republic, and the sides for the new story line are in NATO kit or sovjet/eastblock/OD style.
We have had players from the US (a friend of mine from Florida played OP Pinky 3-5) pluss danes and a few odd others. We dont really "sell" the game outside of Norway, as we dont have that many "tickets" but anyone that wants to come are ofcourse welcome.
Back to topic (befor berget slaps me for selling my game on their site )
The only way to really do a film like that is with a few dedicated roleplayers that want to do it. And then let people know there is a film being made, get everyone that has filmed to send a copy of their film to the guys making it (some of the video in this film is from players ingame). That way they get a lot of raw film, and can edit it all in to one big one. It will ofcourse take work, and having the right skills. But the film would be great
