For the foreign players I must inform you that the summer solstice occur only a week after the game. Because of Härnösands northern position, it´s very light even in the darkest forests at night.
I´ve tested the light conditions, and it´s only slightly darker at night than during daytime. This means that you can easily detect armband colour, read maps and orient with compass, move silently, keep watch, read handsignals, and even make repairs to your equipment.
This also means that lightsticks, flashlight/headlamp will probably be unneccesary equipment. I suggest you let any bigger types of flashlights stay at home and focus on your camo instead.
