SF Coy Structure

Post by TAC Ordinator » 22 May 2007, 21:43

I would like to divide the SF in squads, my idée is too have about 6 squads whit about 10 members each.
How ever I don’t want to split up your teams. So if one team is bigger then 10 members it’s of curse possible to have a larger squad. So if the team captains post the teams members, so I can divide SF in to squads where you know etch other.
Also if you are a “lone wolf” please post so I can set up a separate squad or fill up others squads if they are short of men.

I would also like the team captain to tell me what type of game style your team prefers. For example: are you a CQB team that does prefer urban warfare, or do you prefer stealth missions? It’s good for me to know so I can select the right squad for the specific missions.

My time is limited so I will handle over lot of work to one of my team-members. My deputy TAC Explorator is with daily contact with me and has access to a computer, he will handle the questions about this.

Explorator’s mail: oskar.klaveback@gmail.com and skype e-Cookie

Over and out, Ordinator.

I guess I'm your first "lone wolf"... CQB- and stealth operations are definetely my game, so put me where you need me. I sport a Systema PTW CQB-R with all the cylinders (except for the M150) and I'm packing a TM High-Capa 4.3 for backup, so I'm equipped for any mission, except sniper roles.

If you need a squad leader for some of us "lone wolves", then I'd be more than happy to apply for the job, as this was my position during my military service in the Coastal Rangers in Finland.

I would like to stick with my father (Dog). If at all possible, a team with first language English would be great. My father and I are signed us as one of your sniper teams (with him as my spotter). Obviously our goal is to be neither seen or heard. Look forward to being your unseen and unheard guardian angel.

Hi ya all! I will join you as gamemaster. Because the rest of my team (Berget Crew) are everywere where I'm not, as gamemasters, staff etc I'm kind of a lonewolf for the moment. Please deploy me as grunt close to Commanding officer or 2nd in command. I will during B5 try to have as low profile as possible, but I'm sure gonna kill a bunch of red soldiers if I have to 8)

If you don't know what a gamemaster is please go to General discussion and read my post there.

I have not received any answer from staff for one month now about the problem of the selection form, so I deduce that the problem is set and we are all SF.

There is the group (7 mens):

LK
Hicouri
Zod
Metal
Hustin
Breakiron
gOOn

We practice a lot together, mainly in CQB and have good experience in woodland.

Im hoping there are more sniper teams....if not it might make sense to make myself and my father (Dog) interchangeable throughout squads.

Indeed. The best thing would be to have as many roles in each squad as possible, each with a paired "buddy". For example, in a 10-man squad, the configuration could look something like this:

*Squadleader - (Compass, maps and orders)
*Rifleman - (Radio equipment to contact command, if game requires it)

*Sniper (preferably with serious reach, such as with a airsoft bolt-action-rifle)
*Spotter (Simple binoculars for airsoft distances, ranging equipment not really necessary)

*Support (bipoded light machinegun)
*Rifleman (extra ammo for machinegun)

*Medic (10 field dressings)
*Engineer (if needed for mission, otherwise Rifleman)

*Vice Squadleader
*Rifleman (Armor piercing round, LAW, if mission requires such equipment)

Best thing would be if as many riflemen as possible had M203s mounted on their primary for the possibility of unavoidable vehicle contact, but again, that also depends on the mission.

that would be a great squad, but I think we will have to find who plays what role before we (odrinator and explorator) can decide the best configuration.

Its ok, it’s always best to have opinions from the player's. So we can get ideas, but as it are now we know what to do whit the squads.
And a structure will be realest soon.
