Medics - Clarification
AS far as i know medics are infantrymen with additional training. And as such act as an infantryman.
I would also doubt that a Swedish medic would hesitate to fire when fired upon. Remember that swedish military tradition isn't born from warfare but from lack thereof. It is therefore really hard to state what you are saying - that they would follow any "tradition" of not firing back.
Reply to your question: medics are allowed to use the same kind of weapons as others are (non-support?)

Like Hammer said: Medics are privates with additional training. They can carry all types of weapons besides sniper and support weapons. They can also act freely and will see action as any other soldier.
