UPIR _ Infantry

Unit description: International PMC unit consisting of well trained and experienced fighters from all over the world. Famous worldwide for their professionalism and discipline while feared for their ruthlessness.

Primary Objective: Capture key objectives and neutralize all threats in the op-area, assault the surrounded NAF base and destroy their supplies. More info about missions and objectives will be found in your team forum and OP-order.

UPIR _ IRON Skulls

Unit description: Heavy armored mobile mechanized unit.

Primary Objective: Designed to hunt down and destroy enemy mechanized units. Break enemy defences and strong points such as roadblocks and bunkers

Unit type: Mobile, mechanized
Game style: 80% Offensive
Unit requirements: Only heavy armoured vehicles/tanks qualifying for armor level Class 5 (5 hitpoints) is allowed in this unit. To be able to book a ticket to this unit you will need to bring your own vehicle or have a seat in your friend’s vehicle. All vehicles must be equipped with the BAVS 3.0 or later (more info in rules)

Base logistics: Tents/shelters, toilets and drinking water. Base will be shared with other friendly units.

Special rules: All vehicles must mount "BAVS heavy weapon unit" to the barrel of the tank or mount a TOW launcher tube to the top of the vehicle (more details from BE). Vehicles also need to be OD, Green, Desert or Black.
Players in this unit is not allowed to wear a Ghillie Suit.
NAF _ Infantry

Unit description: Combined units from "Nordic Aliance Force", consisting of ground units ready and trained for the operation to recapture the Oil Fields.

Primary Objective: Capture key objectives and neutralize all threats in the op-area. More info about missions and objectives will be found in your teamforum and OP-order.

NAF _ Mechanized

Unit description: This unit is especially composed for supporting friendly infantry units with transport, extraction and long range infiltration during this operation. Many vehicles have been equipped with extra armor and weaponry

Primary Objective: Rescue the cut off and surrounded NAF Force. Provide protection and transportation for friendly infantry and medical units.

Game style: Action offensive 75%
Unit requirements: To be able to book a ticket to this unit you will need to bring your own vehicle or have a seat in your friend’s vehicle. All vehicles must be equipped with the Bavs 3.0 or later (more info in rules)

Base logistics: Tents / shelters, Toilets and drinking water. Base will be shared with other friendly units

Special rules: Cars need to be OD, Green, Desert or Black. Players need to mount their cars with turrets and roof mounted weapons like machine guns m249, M60, M2HB or MK-19. Contact BE for more info. Players in this unit is not allowed to wear a Ghillie Suit.
NAF _ Ranger & Reconnance Unit

Unit description: The unit is a flexible, highly trained and rapid light infantry unit specialized to be deployed against any given target. Tasked to identify, capture or kill key personnel and rescue kidnapped VIP's.

Primary Objective: Unknown. Info about missions and objectives will be found in your team forum and OP-order.

Unit type: Ranger + Sniper & Reconnaissance
Game style: Hardcore Milsim
Unit requirements: Good physical stamina and wildlife/hiking experience, equipment to be self-sustaining at least 75% of game-time when operating in the area. This unit is not allowed to bring vehicles. You and your gear must be used to march at least 20 km or several hours.

Base logistics: This Ranger unit have no base, no tents provided by BE. Rangers will need to be able to survive parts of the game without any logistics provided by BE. Fresh water will however be provided to key objective points for security reasons. Players are allowed to bring own small green/black tents.

Special rules: There will be a special selection process & interviews pre-game (January 2017). By booking a ticket to this unit there is no guarantee that you will be selected to the ranger unit. You are however free to join any of the other Nordic Alliance Force units if you fail to make the cut.
NAF _ Medical & Field Hospital Unit

Unit description: This unit consists of a mix of Military and Civilian medical staff. They have access to high tech analysis and treatment equipment, and have been deployed to the area to help with the increasing number of wounded from the ongoing conflict.

Primary Objective: Evacuate & Treat injured Military personnel and Civilians.

Armband: Blue
Armband marking: Player Number + Players in this unit must wear a Medic (Red Cross) Armband.
Uniform types: Marpat, Digital Woodland, Cadpat, Vegetato, Multicam/MTP, AOR 2, Digital Flora, ATACS FG, M90, M05/M91, M98/M03, M84, M62 + Civilian Doctor/Scientist Clothing
Armament: Small arms, submachineguns, Pistols.
Unit type: Medical unit.
Game style: LARP, 100% Defensive
Unit requirements: Players in this unit must bring a Gas Mask and Medic Armband. (There will be other smaller medicial props that needs to be brought by civilians) More info from BE.

Base logistics: Tents / shelters, Toilets and drinking water. Base will be shared with other friendly units.

Special rules: This unit will have the unique ability to heal/treat people faster in the base hospital, as well as setting up mobile field hospitals (respawn points) in the field. This unit can have a very small number of vehicles, but they need to be able to carry wounded and have large Red Cross markings and may not have mounted guns. Military ambulances may be armored and follow normal hit point rules. Please consult with Berget Events before you bring a vehicle to this unit. Players in this unit may not wear a Ghillie suit.

NOTE: This is a LARP unit. Do not chose this unit if you don’t intend to, and enjoy LARP.
UPIR _ Shadows

Unit description: Within the UPIR Security company, only the most disciplined and well-trained soldiers gets promoted to this special operations unit. There is very little known about this highly covert unit, because none of them have ever been captured alive to be questioned, but they are known to be responsible for espionage, Infiltrations and assassinations

Armament: Small arms, assault rifles, sniper rifles, support weapons & heavy weapons.
Unit type: Specialist unit
Game style: Hardcore Milsim
Unit requirements: Previous Berget experience or equal is required. Good physical stamina and wildlife/hiking experience, equipment to be self-sustaining at least 75% of game-time when operating in the area.

Base logistics: Shadows will need to be able to survive parts of the game without any logistics provided by BE. Fresh water will however be provided to key objective points for security reasons. Players are allowed to bring own small green/black tents.

Special rules: There will be a special selection process & interviews pre-game (January 2017). By booking a ticket to this unit there is no guarantee that you will be selected to the Shadow unit. You are however free to join any of the other UPIR Security units if you fail to make the cut. All players in this unit needs to bring both black beret and black balaclava to be used in some missions of the game.
UPIR _ Heavy Weapons & Demolition Unit

Unit description: This unit will strike against enemy fortifications, infrastructure and mechanized units using heavy weapons. Due to the mortar capability this unit is also able to support friendly units with indirect artillery fire.

Primary Objective: Destroy enemy fortifications, infrastructure, roads and mechanized enemy units. Info about missions and objectives will be found in your team forum and OP-order. The unit will also construct bunkers, fortify positions and repair roads.

Unit type: Infantry, Combat engineers
Game style: 50% Offensive
Unit requirements: Helmet is required and a small toolkit as an add on to the uniform. The toolkit must contain a small shovel, a saw, rope and a wirecutter. Will be required to manufacture some props pre-game like mines and TNT charges. BE will send specs and blueprints.

Base logistics: Tents/shelters, toilets and drinking water. Base will be shared with other friendly units.

Special rules: This unit have the unique ability to destroy fortifications and infrastructure at a faster pace and also destroy things that other units can’t. They also have a large amount of heavy weapons, mines, explosives and anti-tank weapons.

Some equipment in this unit will require players to create/bring some props before coming to the game. (More instructions from BE) Players in this unit may not wear a Ghillie suit.
UPIR _ PsyOps

Unit description: With a counter espionage mission, the PsyOps will lower morale of enemy units and bring back civilians to the UPIR side using propaganda. Also in charge of interrogation and handling prisoners.

Primary Objective: Stop the information regarding UPIRs alleged crimes against environment and civilians. Gain information about enemy troops and movements by any means possible.

Unit type: Espionage and propaganda
Game style: LARP, 80% defensive
Unit requirements: None

Base logistics: Tents/shelters, toilets and drinking water. Base will be shared with other friendly units.

Special rules: This unit will have access to Berget dollars. This unit does not have access to chemical drugs. Players in this unit may not use a Ghillie suit.
NONMIL _ Mercenaries

Unit description: This unit is a mixed group of outlaws and ex military personnel who have formed their own Mercenary group and up until now have roamed free in the current area growing and dealing drugs and other illegal activities. Due to the army connections of many members, this unit have access to military weapons and Explosives, but they have not been seen or caught with any weapons yet. They seem to mind their own business and they claim that they just want to be left alone to do their thing.

NOTE: This is a LARP unit. Do not chose this unit if you don’t intend to, and enjoy LARP

Primary objective: Maintain undisrupted financial operations at all costs. Seize the opportunity to acquire more weapons and drugs/medicine.

Uniform types: Civilian clothes, PMC Style clothing (half army half civilian)
Armament: Small arms, shotguns, submachine guns, machine guns, assault weapons
Game style: LARP / Offensive
Unit requirements: None

Base logistics: Own civilian tents, some own props needs to be produced and brought to berget. More info from BE crew.

Special rules: Vehicles in this unit can only be class 1 - light vehicle (1 hp). But may be armed. Pickup trucks, old hillbilly style, Motorcycles and ATVs. All regular vehicles must be equipped with the BAVS 3.0 or later (more info in rules).

This unit have their own plot-outline and will be neutral to the ongoing conflict and the other teams from gamestart. 
This unit will have access to Ingame Drugs, Berget dollars Explosives, IEDs and more (BE provided)

Players in this unit may not wear a Ghillie suit.
NONMIL _ Civilians

Unit description: Tamm Valley have been evacuated by NAF Forces to an area without any infrastructure. Many people are sick and are living in provisionary tent camps within the NAF Camp and Field Hospital area. Some have decided to seek shelter with the much stronger UPIR Forces. There are also a handful of people living of the land, but most have disappeared shortly after the local mercenary group settled down in the area.

Please note that all civilian roles be ordinary civilian people. No superheroes or undercover agents. Do not chose this faction if you don’t intend to, and enjoy LARP.

There will be no Civilian Police force.

After booking your civilian ticket you will be contacted by BE Crew for further instructions about the special civilian forum and your future role.

Unit requirements: Own civilian tents, some own props needs to be produced and brought to berget. More info from BE crew.

Base logistics: Civilian tents / shelters, toilets and drinking water. Players must bring own civilian tents.

Special rules: Civilian Engineers have the unique ability to repair and respawn all kind of vehicles, buildings and fortifications at a much faster pace than military engineers, both at a base or in the field at mobile fuel/ammo depots (special rules apply). These engineers are limited in numbers, and will be appointed by Berget Events as special LARP Roles.

NOTE: Civilians will be divided between red and blue forces and will live in red or blue base. We will ofcourse try to let Civilians chose a side to start the game with, but for balancing purposes you may be appointed to one side. Civilians may change side during the game based on outcome of mission and/or story outcome.

NOTE: Special Hit/respawn rules apply to Civilians! This unit does not have medics, they need to visit the field hospital. Players in this unit are not allowed to wear Ghillie.
