Re: Sweden sim card

If you have internet access from Telia or another provider you will not need to get on the Berget data network.

As an addendum to this, I thought I would point out that the e-mail address that I sent for my permit this year (and last) was to the office of " Waffen, Jagd- und Fischereiwesen ". So ask for this when driving to Berget 11. Note that only one person does this in Frankfurt, and he went on vacation w...

It would be 38 EUR shipping on top of the 65 EUR cost per case to ship to Sweden. I had a few things (not MRE's) shipped to my hotel last year before Berget. Thanks for info. Do you think it's OK to order shipping to guns'n'gear service of Berget Events? I believe that would add their fee (I believ...

Date recommendation for 2013

I know it is early, but this was brought up during our preparations to go to Operation Irene this year. As one of the few Americans who can make it to Berget, I would like to make a suggestion about the dates in 2013. For B9 and now B10, the ending occurs during an American holiday weekend celebrati...

Fortunately (or unfortunately) we have higher limits for FPS here. At Fort Drum, for example, the limit is 400 FPS with a .25g BB. That converts to 1.85 Joules. I have been hit in the face at close range with a BB at that energy and was rewarded with a bloody face. It is limited to semi-automatic fi...

The scrambler is really just an inverter, so I would actually have to get my hands on a K version and test. Inversion normally has two modes, inverted and not. So that might be combined into some other new modes.

Puxing has a new dual band version the PX-888K which is the same price as just the UHF version:

And yes the Puxing and Wouxun radios use Kenwood 2 pin plug accessories.

They are not mine. I wasn't an A-10 pilot anyways, that would have been too slow for me! :) This is what we call a tongue-in-cheek post.

I received my ticket on Monday and booked my air travel. I arrive in Frankfurt on Friday and will spend the day with family. I then drive to Nuremberg early Saturday and will be at the show Saturday and Sunday. I go back to Frankfurt on Monday for an afternoon flight back to Washington. I would like...

Anyone going to IWA 2012?

I was wondering if any Berget Veterans (or first timers) are going to IWA in Nuremberg in March? I will be going and thought it would be nice to meet up for dinner on Saturday.

When shipping from Deutschland to the US, I have always found Deutsche Post to be the cheapest--but also the slowest. I would recommend you check into shipping using a parcel service (DHL, Fedex, etc.) to Berget and then the slower Swedish Post to Deutsche Post for the return. This would better ensu...
