Re: Living in Dolina Village :) PROs and CONs

Seems to be a bit of proliferation in spies, double agents and insurgents among the civilians. Is this because of GM choice or is it because of civilian player choice? (i.e is it BE who hands out the roles of spies/faction agents to the civilians or is it the players themselves who decide that they...

Re: BAVS feedback, suggestions & problems

A reset button on the outside would be nice, but remember, its eletrical.. electric+rain doesnt like each other. Repair of a car is 15min, 2h if destroyed. Its some hype about making sure that no car is cheating, fine.. but all those ho dosent take a hit? If someone wants to cheat, they will find a...

Re: HALO/HAHO operations and paratroopers

Not for me to be against more military missions. But remember that to many locations means places to attack and take out, that means a lot more guard duty, that the average airsofter does not enjoy....so most such strategic locations must be close to a main base (so can be guarded by main guard uni...

Re: HALO/HAHO operations and paratroopers

I kind of like this idea. However, if paratroopers drop in behind the line and no one knows about it they will be pretty much just walk around unopposed, which is basically kind of boring, no opposing players means no fights, no risk, no excitement etc. The alternative would be for the "dominating ...

How many GM's were there, and where were they stationed?

Im curious about how BE oversaw this years game and how they go about it in general. Where do GM's "camp out" most of the time and how many of them are there in total? Do BE keep one GM stationed at every factions basecamp who are in touch with the others and two or three out "in the field" to take ...

HALO/HAHO operations and paratroopers

Some thoughts occurred to me after reviewing some opinions and reports from different factions at the latest game. It seems that the Raven and Orlov truce gave the enemy factions a very hard time added with the fact that the Ravens and Orlovs both had substantial access to mechanized support, making...

Re: BAVS feedback, suggestions & problems

If the bavs receiver would get a reset button instead of needing to disconnect/conect battery that would be nice. Alive vehicle could have a couple of green diodes blinking every 15 seconds or something. When vehicles are hit the alarm goes of for 30-60sec, after that a couple of red diodes could b...

Re: Feedback over all

@Aznakh Using the powerlines as the border was a good thing. You can't expect everyone attending Berget to be adept at reading maps. If BE had decided that the border would be in the woods we would've had many instances where people just blundered through the minefield not knowing they were dead as ...

Re: The perfect G36 magazine pouch

Old thread but having gone through a lot of brands that SAY that they fit g36 magazines (which of course they don't, because they are way too small and tight) the only brand I've come across where two g36 maga fit are magazine pouches from Viper.

Re: A Thanks to the Berget staff

Did the doctor take care of you? In that case he talked to me about the incident with a somewhat scary enthusiasm... :D He was thrilled to inject local-anaesthesia around the knee out in the field and getting it back in the first try satisfied him. I guess we all have our perversions. :D Hehe, I ca...

Re: Feedback over all

Coffee, If I understand it correctly, after reading trough all the feedback, one of your major concerns is that GMs told you how many men you could send and where... How many times exactly did this happen? When it comes to AWOL: As part of berget mission controll, my sole purpose is to be part of c...

Re: Feedback over all

Ok, seems time to add a few points. I have played Berget since B5, and played with multiple factions, two main factions and at all levels of command. I can say that with out a doubt, two main forces fighting each other is most fun for me. Berget for me is the chance to move out with large units to ...

Re: BAVS feedback, suggestions & problems

Thanks for the feedback, more ideas and suggestions are welcome!!! One thing for sure is that is coming in the new version is the BAVS receiver "KIA" sound / blink. After a Vehicle has 0 HP and are killed. The BAVS receiver will do a special sound every 15 seconds like "bib, bib, bib" and then flas...

Re: How many civilians was it this year?

The Mudwater couple were true civilians. The only weapon we had was the huge spanner (if you don't consider our moonshine as some kind of bio weapon), that we never used. Jim Tom (my character) is a pacifist. It makes it so much easier for others to relax and start larping if you are unarmed. :) He...
