Re: The rain, how did you survive it?
We all brought our own tents and in our little tent city we covered it with tarps for the most part so we could get to it tents and our own communal area without getting wet. (Only downside is of course as we used a massive tarp across it all it would be hard to have a fire under it). That helped at...

Re: Bypassing Germany and their laws on Airsoft Weapons
Thank you for your kind offers but what about the guns? Perhaps I should have painted a more complete picture of my reasoning. It's positively prohibitive cost wise to take them along when flying. In the UK they frown appon flying with airsoft guns and as far as i know SAS are the only company that ...

Bypassing Germany and their laws on Airsoft Weapons
Hi folks, I have been in a bit of a dialemma about how to get to Berget this year as I dont want to fly so then I have to drive but then I dont want to go via Germany and as I live in the United Kingdom that then leaves the option of sending the weapons or taking a ferry. Now I thought the ferries b...

Regarding goggles and so on, me and my squad often sat around our tents with them just above our eyes so we could quickly pull them down if needed when we were eating etc. One night we were attacked and my squad leader was outside my tent with his knee just by my head taking cover and I woke up thin...

Always pack as if that 10 hour mission would turn into a 48 hr mission, that's the rule I go by and thus usually bring at the very least 4L of water. If you know you drink more then bring 2 3L bladders in your ruck ;) I did start with doing that but then we were told by command that just pack light...

...we got lost so many times due to people not being able to read where they were accurately and the compasses not working properly.. I could tell where south was by the ant hills and the sun and time but still my compass was not pointing to north as far as I could tell.. luckily a couple of guys h...

Also another thing, for us in the Poldovian 5th Tango company, it always felt like we were the last guys to be anywhere so we saw very little action even though we were promised to be the lead element.. several times for various things. On saturday we were told "you will be attacking Janco and there...

A friend of mine told me he had spoken to a sniper who said his rifle chronoed at 620 fps with a .3... another guy told me his rifle was firing 2 joules... so that that at the point of impact he had 1 joule of power.. I'm not exactly sure what that equates to but in the UK you can forget about any A...

For any firm players who remember the attack around the power lines on the Friday night.. me and my squad counted that as a draw, we killed one of you and you killed one of us and then the two Germans in our squad team killed three of us accidentally in the darkness of the forest opposite the power ...

well I'm guessing that it was the setup to the interrogation of the women is what me and my squad stumbled upon when we were dead and asked to move our regrouping point after getting accidentally ambushed by the firm whilst trying to attack the NAF base.. nice to know the reason why we were asked to...

Would have been nice to have water at all points of interest as I'm a heavy water drinker and it felt like the only sure place to fill up my camelbak was jenco and I was always dead by the time I had refilled so I had to leg it back to construction to respawn. Then suddenly other places had water bu...
