Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

Class 4 (DMR) From the rules. (these rules are old and have not been changed) - For Class 4, 5 & 6 your gun must look like a sniper rifle with scope, no mp5/uzi/m4/ak47 etc with scope is allowed as sniper. Basicly any AR with proper lock for semi will be allowed. We will update the rules for Class 4...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

M16 is fine for Class 4. A 556 DMR should be built for range. Do I need to clarify more? https://i.imgur.com/UAQefQK.jpg The replica above has been physically locked to safe-semi only, yet I'd like a confirmation if this would be allowed as an DMR at Berget. If it's not allowed, do you have guideli...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

Good update! Will be interesting to hear how you want to manage chrono at check in. Also, out of curiosity. Since you seem to have taken drag into account. Have you done any studies to determine the drag coefficient of the BB or is it based on the theoretical value of a sphere? We have not made any...

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

I do agree with you 100% and I think many do. 7.62+ and nothing else should be HMG and Class 3. It's just the investment many has done for some LMGs like 249 to be a 2J gun... We have to think about it.

Re: IMPORTANT: Changes to Chrono and Weapon classes

Please explain the thoughts behind the M249 para not to make it a support class? I really don’t get this idea. The RPK47M is also a support class version, but also has a foldable stock. And not to forget the RPKS (same deal also foldable.) So, this should be banned also? Banned? certainly not. The ...

Re: HPA and the future

Joule creep is the biggest problem. My P* M27 is 301fps @0.20 and 348 fps(equvalent) with 0.30's. Majk, his readings are probably not off. I've seen similar ones before. It depends on a lot of factors, like barrel length, air pressure, hop-up setting, bore diameter. The serious thing here is that i...

With a decent 22rps. None of my regs were ziptied (i ziptied them myself..) or Notting. Chronoing with joules with 0...

Re: HPA and the future

Simplest and easiest way to chrono would be using ingame BB and measuring joules from the end of the barrel. We've been doing that in Finland for a really long time already, and it seems to be quite a well working solution. Yes, this has many benefits and I can easily see that metod optimal for sma...

Re: HPA and the future

Rules can never prevent certain dishonest individuals from cheating but are there to make it fiddly... Hopefully in a near future the cheaters are in such minority they are easy for us to find. But this is a joint effort bethween players, rules and crew. If you dont report your cheating teammate th...

Re: HPA and the future

It is fairly easy to hear and identify a "crisp" AEG at chronoing, and ask the player to put in on full-auto and let the chrono count the RPS. Your chronos seemed to have that option (?) So check Cat 1-2 on judgment and all Cat 4s. Not saying that is easy as snapping your fingers, but just saying, ...

Re: HPA and the future

If theres a ROF limit, why isnt there anything in the rules? Good question, im pretty sure it was implemented in the physical/paper guide last year after some trouble recent years. Trouble with this rule its hard to check, but should defenetly be in the rules on webbpage. Its something we wont cont...
