Attacking a base before 0900 is a no go, we already covered that.

Unless you take 2-3 BAVs to take out some vehicles while in the base, a 13 man strong surprise attack on a x00 strong enemy base isn't gonna do anything. If it's sunny you can't sleep past 0800-0830, like vinni said, so expect most of the base to be up already.

On B8 I was sleeping in an extreme 0° sleeping bag with cold gear unders. Had no complaints. The weather then was not so pleasant - most of the time it was raining lightly with some sunshine for short periods.

I'd say a comfort 0-4° bag is probably best.

I think there will be plenty of places in Harnossand or Sundsvall where you could follow the finals.
