Re: Suggestion box:

Another thing, as far as I know. Players that coming to this event each year are coming with SUPER DUPER MODIFIED guns, and can reach 100+m range without any problem. Modifying my M110 to 140m/s isn't worth it's while, because the max range I'm gonna achieve with it is like 60-65m like a M4 with 13...

Re: Suggestion box:

The SR25/M110 is literally a more modern and westernized Dragunov. Its weight and length doesnt differ *that* much from the SVD. Not enough so that you can say an SVD is more like a Barret M107, and hence should be in the same category as each other and exclude the SR25. An SR25 is just as similar ...

Re: Big expectations!!!

In hindsight: Expect nothing and expect to make your own game and be self motivated. Do not expect to see any cool combat, do not expect to get any cool special missions, regardless of the unit. Only thing everyone should expect, however, is rain and cold weather and get the appropriate sleeping and...

Re: Suggestion box:

"Semi-snipers PSG-1, Dragunov, Cheytac, Barret and all 50.cal semisniper are allowed to be tuned up to class 6." Why is Dragunov included in that category, when SR-25 is not? Does not make sense to me. They are pretty equal in real life performance and weapon size, so what is the logic here? With cu...

Re: Big expectations!!!

You can always do something new, for instance our team took a LARP roll this year. I understand that you get bored of it when each time you join, you mass up with your fellow lands mates and all you get from it is just an other annual exercise. For example, we haven't once joined the faction that o...

Re: gear...

Bridgedales are good but I have found Smartwool PhD socks to be even better :) Very good at keeping their form/stretch, have a nice furry wool layer next to skin so no blisters or sticky feeling even without liner sock. Highly recommended. Thanks, have to check those out! Personally, I've never wor...

Re: Big expectations!!!

Well, this year I certainly am hoping that Berget steps it up a notch and provides something new for the players, atleast for those that chose a more special Milsim units. For me personally, Berget is becoming too expensive to just repeat performance. Yes of course, berget is what you make of it lik...

Re: gear...

What saved my ass and always has: - Goretex raingear. Absolutely essential and not having them is the f*cking reason so many people quit the game every year early. Make absolutely sure you have atleast some kind of raingear when you come to berget, I cannot stress this enough. - Good boots. I've use...

Nobody played NATO, since there weren't much of the peacekeeping missions for them. After the 1st day it was all about shoot 1st then ask questions. I doubt that any smaller force would carelesly open fire upon a larger force, like NATO. So you cant say play by NATO standards if there aren't any! F...

I think the party was great. We finns had great time there and the beer was reasonably priced on my opinion. Also there was only airsofters as far as I remember, so now problem with random visitors. Keep this up!

I felt that when the Bashir City worked (being peaceful and friendly) it was a nice concept. We had a moment like this once in the game with my platoon. I was approached by the nice role playing ladies and police. I spent my dollars to the missionary work for the church (wich the father spent on cas...

To these very not nato-like players ( some of the lima company): If you want to play your little sunday competition games; please do it at home. Berget game and especially NATO side is not for this. You really pushed the whole NATO side to bad light and ruined the NATO's purpose by senselessly raidi...

If you decide to call one side NATO, you must not be hesitated to enforce discipline to make the NATO side work even remotely like one. If large groups go rogue, they should be warned, restricted and/or eventually banned. Theres just no other way, if they cant understand the meaning of playing for N...
