And then the Food :lol: I suggest to buy canned food. Easy to carry, and just need to warm up. You can also take MRE´s (Meals Ready to Eat), but in long run you will get tired to just those. Salted meat wont get spoiled, but those won´t make good your liquid balance. Protein bars could be better sn...

well we used two different solutions, either strip down to your bare chest and throw on some wool, and keep only the wool on during the break, or to have a very warm jacket in your pack with easy access that is big enough to go over all your gear( jacket, rigg etc) and simply put that on when stopp...

work about your endurance, do not take 30kilos of gears if you're not used to ... I Love gears, have shiny Navy seals stuff and be like a photo take in astan or irak but i'm not a soldier I can wear these stuff for 3 hours but not more so I didn't take it at berget .... If you want to keep your camelback clean and keep their ability to keep water clean, put only clear water in it (mark in the manual) and if you're used to drink mineral water don't forget to take "micropur" pills to clean water :) or you will be sick and it's useful to conserve water in the camelbac...

I forgot one things in my experience at b6 one you are on guard duty (first to do at B6) take time to know your people ! Ask where their from, what are their expetation of the event etc ... try to build a link with them, they will follow you better if they know you :) and that will sound aweful but ...

keep in mind that 3 hours waiting is a little because you can be out for fignting for 5 or 6 hours maybe more (take in count that you have to move towards the objectives, take position assault, destroy the ennemie or be destroyed and com back to the base) maybe you should use this time to drink, eat...
