Speaking of google ... Have a quick scan through the folllowing link. It's good basic advise irrespective of what frequency band you are on. It's from a search and Rescue information site, but ignoring the specific activity of the internet site in question, these are worthwhile guideline to review. ...

It's easy to emotionally react especically if you are an airsofter. My immediate reaction was was utter madness as well Consider the source of the news ... The breaking news is true ... Yes there is a discussion and proposal Yes it is presented as being heavy handed and dis-proportional But the rest...

I am generally positive regarding the motivation for this idea. It's come up in numerous conversations .... Where there's a will there's a way . The biggest question I encounter is, when is the right time to establish it and would establishing it help or hurt more? [Opening a can of worms and all th...

If your point Panzergraf, is that dead rags should not become the single and only signal a player uses when hit, then I agree fully with you. However, I challenge your comment "....but please don't rely on it too much ....". I actually would go as far as to counsel all players to actually look out f...

There'll always be some who won't get it ... and will not use the 'deadrag' and then get all upset when they're shot again. No sympathy from me .... Darwin rules.

Gosh, I'm in a positive mood today

This is a long standing question, there are valid points on both sides. Extra range is great, noise is not, cost is a consideration and accuracy management is a dark art at the best of times. Upgrade topics often forget the other sides of the discussion ... I think. Fieldcraft, gun maintenance, play...

Sorry to hear this also. Over the years, our sport has suffered from the constant threat of restriction and it's frustrating to know why as, for example, I do not see airsoft crime figures to directly support these restrictions. In the meantime, the average player can only continue the good behaviou...

The socks thing already highlighted well by kjsaw .... go back and re-read it 'cos it's really vital. Once the feet are well taken of, consider your fitness and now's the time to do something about it. Fitness is the biggest difference between having just a good event and really enjoying an event su...

Having read this worthwhile thread, I'll be making sure I'm in my best health coming into the event, I'll eat and drink and sleep sensibly during the event and try to keep clean, warm and dry when off game. +1 [Eldoriath] for the comment about hand hygiene before eating. A simple packet of dis-infac...

Having read the rules, whilst this is my first Berget, it's not my first multi-day 'outdoor' event. Hope this is OK. Don't let Day1 of Berget be the first day you're using your first MRE . [or wearing your new boots]. A couple of weeks in advance try a few different MREs so that you determine; 1) wh...
