THOSE amazing Berget moments!

First of all I'd like to say I very thoroughly enjoyed my first Berget, and would like to thank Berget-events and their crew for a very well run event with a lot of attention to detail. I'm not going to attempt to do a full AAR, so here's just a summary of those 'magical moments' that really made Be...

As a Poldavian 3rd Mountaineer player are ROE were as follows: - Civilians: Only shoot if fired upon - UN: Only shoot if fired upon, this changed briefly to 'free to shoot' the back to only shoot if fired upon - Firm: Treated like civilians but we very soon heard rumours of them being hired by NAF s...

I'm curious how many people would drop out simply because of needing a new uniform. Compared to the overall costs of attending Berget it's not the largest chunk of cash by far. Not speaking from a theoretical point of view here. I already had US woodland but went and got DPM to fit with the rest of ...

Got to agree with Eagledriver here. Or to put it otherwise, why go to all the trouble of enforcing uniform differences if you're gonna rely on the armbands anyway...

Brujo, you obviously win in the Berget experience department. So I'll bow out of the discussion here. But to answer the question on why bother: because it may add an element to the game rather than detract. And because I don't mind if people who make the extra effort to get it right, actually have a...

Brujo, I agree with your arguments if we are talking about random people trying to listen in. They should have their orders what to do, and act according to those. If however, command wants to assign people to listen in and try to decipher overall enemy activity from their radio chatter, I do not se...

Here is a link: http://miltrad.no/webshop/index.jsp?active.category=4&active.item=455 This very item is a norwegian technical shirt. Its made for having under a bulletproof vest, and is very comfy on bare skin in warm weather. Ah, okay. I'd have called it an UBACS (Under Body Armour CombAt Shirt). ...

Jamming should to my mind not be allowed. PMR frequencies are limited enough already that jamming would make radios mostly useless,

I had problems with the cheaper lowcaps that I'd bought. Switched to MAGPUL PMAGs and I'm very happy with those. And in a box of 10 they are quite affordable from fire-support.co.uk.
