There are enough green and tan based uniforms and camo patterns that I do not think it would be a problem. Keeping it to just Woodland BDU and desert DCU would be way to strict - different countries have different styles of green and/or tan camo. The arid camo's are usually grouped with tan (Multica...

I feel that the uniform is really how we should be distinguishing the teams apart. In MILSIM games here in the US (I know Berget is not strictly MILSIM) we even have trouble telling uniform colors apart at night. This leads to some incidents of fratricide or "friendly fire." We feel that this adds t...

You could just have your armband with only the same sized square on it in the team color. This really is not an issue.

Then you could attach it like we used to do in the old days in the Military using a safety pin. We used to use them to keep Brassards up on our shoulder and before I thought of using velcro--I was going to use a safety pin to keep my armband up. You could also just add some velcro pile on your BDU s...

Airsoft gun permit for Germany

I will be flying to Berget with a stopover in Frankfurt, Germany. As my airsoft guns are automatic they are not legal to possess in Germany. There are several stories of people who have had their airsoft guns confiscated by the German police and even fined. I read about the possibility of getting a ...

I thought that we wear different colored uniforms for team recognition? But I am also used to more strict MILSIM games where we do not wear armbands. Some times it is hard to tell who is on what team at night or in a dark area but that is a part of MILSIM. (I know Berget is not a straignt MILSIM gam...

Future suggestion for Armbands

For B9, I will be wearing the ACU style uniform with velcro on the upper sleeve. I made up my armband and decided to put some velcro under it so it would help stay up by attaching to the velcro on the uniform sleeve. Then I thought that it would be cheaper and easier to make a blue patch to cover ju...

By the way, the permit I received was certified by the office of the Mayor of Frankfurt and one nice thing they note is that the permit is extended if there is a delay or change in flight plans.

Wow, that was fast -- after spending months trying to figure out who issues it, I received my permit by e-mail this morning! Not even 24 hours after applying for it. It is the same MS Word form but turned into a PDF and it has a seal and signature attached to the bottom of it. By the way here is the...

You will have to map out where you will enter Germany on your trip to (enter) Berget and then on your trip back (depart)

Then see what state you will travel through and what subdivision. Then google Ordungsamt with the name of the city/town/county/state that you will first travel through.

WOOHOO!!!!!!! I finally got the right person at the Ordnungsamt in Frankfurt. She stated that in order to transit Germany I do indeed require the Mitnahmeerlaubnis and she is sending me the permit application via e-mail. She stated that I fill out and return via e-mail and the final permit will be e...
