Dutchwolf, Pollies poked fun at the statements made in the briefing that was videotaped. NAF rangers also seemed embarassed by the videotape. Then someone starts posting 'all Pollies suck' as the perfect flamebait. People jump on the bait. That's pretty much it. I think you're making more out of it,...

To be honest having a limited amount of fighting per day with lots of patrolling etc is to be experienced when joining a milsim unit. I think there's been plenty of warning of this, too.

Yup, I can tell this from personal experience as it landed all around us on Degas Plateau. The first charge was set off 3 meters behind me.... Luckily I had been wounded already ;)

Errr. As a policeman you can't allow Poldavian troops to _capture_ firm personnel... So you go and knifekill the troops? Way tto go law enforcement...

Remind me to stay away from your jurisdiction! ;)

I think that biggest problem was those lousy armbands that rolled into 1 cm string on arm. Secondly, maybe NAF & UN shoulded have different color armbands, I did notest some blue on blue situations where some of the UN players did not have a UN blue headgear, only blue armband. Armband shade could ...

I still don't see any cheating in the videoclip, which is why I'm asking about the statement that we "needed to cheat". I was just surprised by the statement that sounded like a spawn site was being moved. I guess what he meant is for people to use a different (existing) spawn site, which is someth...

*boggle* Send me 20 trucks to transport my men to the eastern roadblock... Because my troops feet are hurting?? I don't know about anyone else, but by the end of Berget my feet hurt like mad but we still kept going. May have something to do with the 'Never Quit' motto on the mountaineers badge ;) By...

Also another thing, for us in the Poldovian 5th Tango company, it always felt like we were the last guys to be anywhere so we saw very little action even though we were promised to be the lead element.. several times for various things. Know what you mean. On Thursday (I think) we, Poldavian 3rd Mo...

I resent the word suicide. Even though we all happened to die, I prefer the wording 'high risk mission' ;)

Interesting, I only experienced medics who would carefully track on their watch to make sure they did the full 2 minutes, and kept telling the wounded exactly how much time they had left until they were 'good to go' *shrug*

Reasons I would not be a fan of this: - it removes the often quite cool actions where players take risks to recover wounded buddies to a safe spot where they can be healed - it removes the also often quite heroic work I've seen medics doing - nearest spawn can be 4km away if you're unlucky (happened...

- To emphasize even more the importance of knowing the rules very well. <snip> people run away from GM when they were already lighting the fireworks next to them To be honest the rules do not offer a lot of clarity other than that the GM will tell you if you are hit. No word on what MOMENT is appli...
