To each his own, but to me loose fitting boxers sound like the worst idea concerning the issue. I'm not sure if me falling into a mudhole at B7 - armpit deep - then walking couple hours in totally wet gorka and loose boxers, then not having blisters at all is a good example to the contrary. B...

I think all you need is loose fitting boxers... I never got blisters, not even after 50km hikes in full gear. Leaving your (very gucci) thigh holster/platform at home also helps. :D

If you still get them... Well, horse riders and cyclists use tight fitting (under)pants and anti chafing creams.

It has the ARES gas system which is not exactly a successful or very consistent one, not to mention upgrade parts...

If you want a decent, gas operated sniper rifle, you should look into externally powered (CO2 or HPA, I'd go for the latter in Sweden) Tanakas with the VSR type hopup conversion.

Unlike last year, I was too busy playing, so I took only a handful of pics... Here is some of them, I'll post more in a couple days... http://web.axelero.hu/szlejer2/b7/04.jpg http://web.axelero.hu/szlejer2/b7/01.jpg http://web.axelero.hu/szlejer2/b7/05.jpg http://web.axelero.hu/szlejer2/b7/03.jpg

Last year, I had a 270fps AEG, it was OK. This year, 360fps AEGs, they worked perfectly. Never felt undergunned, but as said, it depends on the gaming style and experience. The lower the fps, the less likely that your rifle will break down, suck the battery dry at the worst moment, etc. Always bring...

But you should have seen my face when I saw you pull over and step out. I was standing on a high rock talking to the phone. I expected GMs to step out and saw mercs :D And you should have seen our faces when we stopped at a randomly picked spot on a very long and seemingly very empty road and we we...

Okay, the bottom line is about the same. :)

Maybe Pivo or Luc can tell their part, I was on the far side of the team.

We had a total of 10-12 people on site (one russian and one slovenian team).

We discussed this mission with Olli at the afterparty, I think it's a simple misunderstanding, maybe I didn't explain myself correctly, maybe the loud music, beer, or everything combined. :) Anyway, I was a bit suprised when Olli explained to me the F16 mission was just a setup/cover for a big ambus...

After 0200 YOM troops appeared near the location where GPS were last turned on and tried to look it, but the trackers wer allready moved to SRP base. The YOM troops were shot by SRP XO aka. Kartoon. Not quite. :) Upon arrival we got incoming from a single SRP personnel (who later revealed that he w...

Sleep is overrated. You can always sleep in your own bed back home. Sleep is overrated until you break your ankle or knee 'cos you missed just one step... Or until you are so sleep deprived to start hallucinating things (it happened to us :D ). We were out on the field up to 5-6 AM, and it was impo...

Problem is, players don't care / know much about the burden of running HQ... Most of them think you guys are just sitting there all day long, exchanging bad jokes and munching junk food while they're boring their asses off. If logistics (volunteer and BE crew powered) are at breaking point, then siz...

We need players being able to see themselves as parts of a bigger picture - and enjoy it even if there's not intense firefights all day. Distribution of information, daily, detailed briefings on the news, latest developments could keep motivation levels much higher... Let's call them "motivational ...

Re: What is MILSIM

For me it's odd that MILSIM is associated with packing allot of weight. Regular infantry is associated with lugging a lot of weight... SF is associted with packing even more. If we simulate these units (most of the time we do), the milsimmer SHOULD BE CAPABLE of packing a lot* of weight. He can do ...

Be patient, it can take a couple weeks before they have the time to send your stuff back.

I've full confidence in the BE crew, they always handled my packages very well, including this year.
