Re: Debriefing Berget 13.
Personally I think the balance should be driving by numbers. If there is a force multiplier on the red due to bigger teams that have experience with each other and thus more effective, then this could be countered by lowering the numbers. Based on the numbers I was told, I think the reds had a 1.5:1...

Re: The CP points
I like you're thinking, but I would be inclined to keep it simple until it is embedded and working well.
Some key improvements have been identified out of B13, and I would prefer to see those implemented and proven first.

Re: What was your best Berget moment?
Two great moment for me was... 1. Having one of the teams play Wagners Ride of the Valkyries as we got dropped in on our first Para Op. 2. Joining three of the Para platoons along with a "special team' clean the town out on the Thursday night under the cover of the GCT attack on the Ikaras base. We ...

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.
Helvetica, Rico was not part of the story this year. Thank god... Apart from the moment when one of his loyalists tried to deliver a present from Rico, which was a grenade placed right in the middle of the GCT/Para Inf HQ tent. Para CO, XO and a company commander escaped unharmed. However the culpr...

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.
PS: Had a team that signed up as hardcore milsim, ready for it all. But where complete destroy after first day. And told their CoyCom they where suprised how heavy it was compared to their normal Sunday game. And their task the first day was not hard compare to the others in Infantry. So, not alway...

Re: The CP points
If things are gonna stay the same for the future, I think it's vital that every single unit should know in real time where it's possible to respawn. I have to agree. I understand that BE would not want all the players to see the live web map showing the status of all CP's as there is a risk they wi...

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.
I totally agree Metatrone. Some will say that Berget is not MilSim. I beg to differ. When I see the command structure in place, and the efforts the commanders go to in their HQ's when doing mission planning, then it is MilSim. With nearly a thousand players you need structure and control. You can no...

Sounds like a very good mate.Tiger_1 wrote:Is it time to start a new timeline? And switch some camo around again? To try and break up the NATO/NAF/GTC guys and the POLDAVIAN/RAVENS/IKAROS gang? Would still suggest sticking to two main factions.

Re: Debriefing Berget 13.
I had a really enjoyable event. There were frustrations, but it has all been covered by other people, so there is no need for me to re-iterate. With regards to the GCT HQ tent, Parzi said it all. As far as I was concerned, it was a Para Inf command tent! But no one officially confirmed either way du...

Sounds like someone is familiar with Dave Snowdens work, and complexity theory.MjProblem wrote:

Re: Feedback over all
The biggest problem with GCT was that when we went on a mission it was pretty much always all of the GCT members in one group. I think it would be better with more groups of 6-8 people being inside lerando sabotaging and delaying raven units through ambushing their mechs. That would have given the ...

Who had radio issues
I had radio problems once more. Apart from the ability to reach my units in the field, which I am sure was hampered by interference from the power lines, there was also issues with the radios. Fortunately I only had around 7 units needed game radios as most other sub-commanders had brought their own...
