I asked the lokal administrative office who gives out that permit. It wouldn't be a probleme to get one as foreigner for transit. With importing weapons you are totally right. The problem is that they are not responsible and can not handout that document. As I wrote there are for each border crossi...

Berget camping/base questions

Since this is my first time attending, I wanted to check to see how the tents are set up. Do we just sleep on the ground in a large tent? I have a Bivy sac for mosquito protection that goes around my sleeping bag. If I can stake it into the ground then I can keep the netting off of my legs too (it i...

Sweden sim card

I have never been to Sweden before, so I would like to know if there is a store in or near the Stockholm Arlanda airport that I can buy a prepaid SIM card? I have an unlocked GSM phone that I use in Germany to use it with. Thank you!

I decided that I will be taking the train from Arlanda to Sundsvall Central Station and arrive 28 June around 1600. I booked a hotel for that evening in Sundsvall and will drive to the game site on the morning of 29 June. If anyone would like a ride from Sundsvall in the morning of 29 June please le...

I have one UVD2 and two UVD1P's. The only difference between them is that the radio case is slightly different. I prefer the UVD1P because it was easier to unlock the frequency ranges.

For travel to and from the USA, passengers are required to carry loose LiPo batteries in their carry on luggage only. So I have a LiPo sack, as Ober-Lix points out, and it makes them easy to organize in the LiPo sack too.

I arrive Stockholm on 28 June at 09:53 and will have to go back to Stockholm the evening of 02 July to make an early morning flight back on 03 July. I was going to rent a car at Stockholm, but might take the train to Sundsvall and rent a car there (same back.) Would either of those fit in your sched...

I just bought another KG-UVD1P for a team mate and cloned mine for him, as I have two for my normal comms setup (the radio is FCC approved for commercial and public safety use in the United States.) I wanted to point out that if you have one KG-UVD1P programmed, you can clone that radio using a clon...

The real ammo box is also cardboard, but it has a wax coating to help keep it protected from moisture.

What a shame i wanted a steel gun not a crummy aluminum gun :x why would they make it out of aluminum and sell it for 750$ Wow, you registered on the forum just to say this? You haven't even physically held the gun. Aluminum is used in many high stress applications, like combat aircraft. ...

Echo1 M240 Bravo (FN MAG)

I thought I would share this here too. I picked up the Echo 1 M240B, which is the US military version of the FN MAG 7.62mm GPMG. It is made mostly from machined aluminum and weighs almost 8 kilograms! I have not had a chance to chrono it yet but will be able to do that later today. http://www.baltim...

The Garmin Dakota 20 is an intermediate GPS between the 60 and the Oregon series:

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=30926

It has a display similar to the Oregon but lower resolution, and it is cheaper.

Also it looks like the Mellersta and Södra Norrland map covers Harnosand.

The Garmin Oregon: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=145&fKeys=FILTER_SERIES_OREGON Is a handheld trail GPS. You can download topographical maps, and you can also upload custom maps that are geo referenced for the GPS use. I do not know if it is the size you are looking for, but the features s...

Could you either provide a link or a better description of what you are looking for? Most of the active target ranges for airsoft that I see are from Hong Kong and Japan, but the ones you can buy here in the US are like this: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=airsoft+target&um=1&ie=UTF-...
