Tiger_1 it looks like i managed to hit your HQ together with a UN call :D :D :D Regards Blackwolf Yup, you took me and my HQ-colleague out twice, but at that time we were so bored over the mostly dead radio-net that we took it with a smile and simply respawned by taking 1-hour naps. We were mostly ...

I'd like to thank all commanding officers on all sides for a stellar effort and good work. HQ and command structure related: To have functioning HQ's we need a functional cellphone net and working UHF repeaters - and some lingering officers around the HQ tent or HQ building ready to update the HQ ma...

Time for my debrief. Had to get some time/distance to the whole spectacle first :D 1. Info tables outside HQ to keep folks updated about game progression, vital intel, tips & advice and field movements. - I had my admin kit with me, with laptop, printer, plastic lamination card gadget and a mobile p...

I'm actually frustrated on 320th's behalf. The failing repeater and bad COM logistics really messed up the game for us at HQ this time. There was no way I could compensate from the HQ and as mentioned in the logistics-thread I honestly think Berget failed big time in delivering a functional COM netw...

Roleplaying truly functional UN or NATO units with airsofters is quite frankly useless due to the weekend-skirm short-term mindset of most airsoft players. Example 1: In Lebanon in the eighties - UN never had air support or heavy artillery and always had to use the negotiating power of UN and most a...

I enjoyed the base facilities this year. Most has been said already, so I'll concentrate on a major gripe from my side as S6/Com Officer at B7, B8 and B9. COM needs a SERIOUS workover if this game shall serve so many airsofters well through future games. To my surprise BE seem not to learn from prev...

Some of our guys did not take the Berget radio as they had the same type and thought it un-necessary, then not being able to communicate because we couldn't get the frequencies was extremely annoying. 1. Each Batallion CO could get a designated frequency list from Berget-Events for their batallion ...

Thanks to Berget Events for organizing this awesome event! My job: Get on the radio with some other dudes in 1st Pol Inf Batt/ 15th PsyOps and run the Pol HQ radio net. Me and Løkke from Østfold MilSim came from Norway and had a blast with some other guys from 15th PsyOps running that radio net! We ...

Anybody know how to make à broadcast with two PRR ? I don't find any information :(

Thanks
Not that easy. You need a special rebroadcast kit in addition to two or more PRR's in unison. That hardware seems hard to obtain.

Re: VHF or UHF???

What is used at Berget games and what is the difference between them?? First: Google is your friend - google up VHF and UHF before you ask here, please. This has been asked and replied on this forum before and elsewhere. Second: Also read previous topics here instead of starting new threads coverin...

That's probably true freno, In fact the Russians --- blabla...... confusing. Hey, dude. Drop the politics. The russians are our neighbours and fellow airsofters. This arena is unique in that we can be better than our politicians and shake hands across the borders. Embrace that fact and leave all pr...

Most factors mentioned in the thread start are already discussed and attempted as good as possible by many ingame Berget unit leaders. But airsoft is not like real mil unit behaviour patterns. The true bottlenecks are quite simply that besides some kit similarities - most airsofters are simply indiv...

Distribution of information, daily, detailed briefings on the news, latest developments could keep motivation levels much higher... Let's call them "motivational briefings". But this was already mentioned / recommended last year. The sheer admin burden of running an airsoft batallion didn't allow r...
