Best spring rifle to upgrade is Well L96 - all compatible, and easy to upgrade without selling you girlfriend to slavery for new upgrade part

RS SVD is great one as AEG - extrernals and internals are great too,but got problem with a hop up unit, original parts can hold SP150 spring wihtout problem but tappet plate...damn..if its broke..you need to made new one yourself because its unique.
Anyway...

Good luck with you SR2,and dont forget to buy sidearm

There does actually exist a chepa china-clone sniper that fires about 147m/s from the very moment you buy it. Can't really re-call the company or the models internationall name. I think it could be Artic warfare magnum or something, it's PSG90 in swedish anyways and am sure someone will know and correct me.

could it be that you mean the "UTG Shadow Ops"? its a cheap version of the AWM. after some tuning a satisfying sniper. i've got one myself and i like it a lot.

Hello all sniper experts

I have a chance to get this rifle
Image

It's an A&K with a PAS CO2 Conversion kit Image

and a Guarder 6.02mm Interchange Barrel for PSG-1 (Accrual Length, 650mm). It shoots at 473fps.
As far as I know no changes in the hop up unit or anything else has been done to it.
The fact is I never owned a sniper rifle before but I'd like to try the role (not for Berget though).
Do you think it is a good buy? What would be a satisfactory range for a rifle like this?
Thanks for any help

:)

It's quite inconsistent due to the fact that it just 'spits' out CO2 without a regulator, and if you want to do serious sniping.. you'll be left out dry. Plus the hop-up system is not the brightest in the market. Best to go for a dedicated platform that's tried and proven. I don't mean to imply anything, but i am selling a super-tuned-up VSR-10: http://www.zeroin.co.uk/showthread.php?t=97520 :)

HPA is the only way for a gas sniper rifle, CO2 won't cut it.
And even with HPA and dual-regs it will still be inferior to a tuned VSR (for half the price)...

I have all spare parts for the RS SVD box if any is in need!

Will bring a kit to Berget to, and can probably do a repair if this should be needed.

The RS SVD can be quite decent, but for maximum reach a VSR is better (and at least as expensive) - But for the "Russian style" the RS SVD is the best.

Sorry for borrowing the thread but im in a bit of trouble.
I got a m16a4 (systema mech, modify 300% gears, 140s spring, guarder infinit torque motor, 11.1v lipo)

The damn thing keeps burning MosFets, Im on my third now (2 AB-Fet, 1 Double-fet) and the bugger keeps burning upp after a mag or two of rapid singel fire shooting.
What can i do to make things hold, or do i need to down grade and use it as a normal rifle? (it's semi converted ATM, shooting 138.8 m/s)

Pls Help!

You mist either have connected something wrong, shimmed much to hard or using a battery with to low a voltage. (this can be a problem with she Mosfets)

The AB mosfet can easily handle much more, if used properly.

Wires are correct, shimming is "ok" may be on the loose side, and running a lipo 20c 11.1 2300mah. newly charged battery, so that's not the problem. ill go check on the fet for marking so i can tell what sort of fet it is. (the seller told me it was a Dual AB fet)
