Anybody know how to make à broadcast with two PRR ? I don't find any information :(

Thanks
Not that easy. You need a special rebroadcast kit in addition to two or more PRR's in unison. That hardware seems hard to obtain.

ShawnX

I am looking for the same thing. I know the rebroadcast unit uses a differnet Selex radio called an H4860.

I know that www.prc68.com has some information, and I have been in contact with the website owner about help in creating a repeater for the H4855 signal. But as of now, I have not had the time to try and build one.

If you find some info, please post here and I will do the same.

I have a PRR with dual PTT that I have been trying to get to work with my Icom F4S or Yaesu VX7R, but I cant seem to get the radio to key up.

From another thread on another forum, I have learned that the white cable is the PTT - but when I connect it nothing seems to happen.

I have been able to get the speaker to work, just cant get the PTT to work :\

Any ideas?

Somes dual PTT are not compatible with somes PRR. Sometime you can just receiv (listen) but not transmit with the second radio....

You do not want to run a replica headset on a PRR, people you communicate whit will have a hard time hearing you. This due to the poor qaulity of the mic's in the replica headsets. I have converted a few cavalvy headsets for some team mate's, I ended up replacing the mic's in them whit originals to get good speech.

My advise buy a working original on ebay.

I have a question about the Selex radios....

I have several dual PTT's for the H4855 radios. I want to connect a UHF radio to the second button. Does anyone have the diagram for which wires do what?

I have the Clansman and the NATO (U-229) dual PTT's to work with, so a diagram for either would help.

Hello guys!

Due to several problems in communicating with the command the last Berget I'm considering bringing up the next time some Clansman radios. These can be found fully refurbished at good prices and in different version allowing a very good output power and antennas. Just one question - these radios operate on military frequencies, what are the laws reagarding this in Sweden? What are the restrictions on radio frequencies up there?

I surprised that no one responded with help connecting a UHF radio to the PRC343 radio's U229 connector. Someone here must have that information!

Please share!

Real U.S. Marine PRR's

I got out of the Corps. 2 years ago and on my way out I snagged 2 PRR's from the communications shop. One has the wireless PTT. Both work really well and only missing the head straps for your head that go on the headset. I might be willing to sell and ship them to you for the right price.
