Post by vklue » 29 Nov 2009, 20:50

Hi Berget-Team,

do you think that it is possibile to establish a "public viewing area" for the
football fans to watch their nations playing at south africa at that time?

just an idea

Hi Berget-events,

I would like to watch my regular series can you record them and play them in between the soccer games? And i would like to agree on a seize fire during the time of broadcast.

if this is not to much to ask for can you also provide soda's and popcorn? Ow and maybe a love seat or 2 to get really comfy whit my mates.

Seriously dude if you want to watch the soccer, stay home.

I don't know of you guy's but I'm going to Berget for the Airsoft, not for the entertainment of a moving picture in a plastic box.

I think there will be plenty of places in Harnossand or Sundsvall where you could follow the finals.

Guys, calm down :D
Well if there is players who want to watch football or weddings during event, only choise is bring portable TV or high-tech cellphone of their own. There is very small chance of Berget events offering help for this. Reason is, there is no need for TV in off-game area or anywhere else.

Even there would be big cinema screen and all nice things, i think i wouldnt watch TV in this event. There are 3 reasons.

Reason 1: Watching football in B8 wont fit in storyline. Not even offgame
Reason 2: I have lots of other things i want to do, than watching TV.
Reason 3: If Berget Events brings TV, theres work for that. They have a lots of work, and small things like this will take their time. Staff have lots of work even now.

Hey lets be realistic here, just because some small in the middle of nowhere country decides to go to war on itself, doesn't mean the rest of the world comes to a halt. (I bet you can't even find one american that can point out Poldavia on a map :P) Ofcourse the soccer matches go on and ofcourse people will watch it even in a war torn country.

Personaly I think watching sports is like watching someone eat. You should be doing it yourself. But that's just me. Who knows maybe some mercs can set up a TV screen and ask for a small entrance fee to watch.

all aboard the hate-train? alas it was a rather dumb request but there is no need for all the redicule. Why is it that these forums are so full of hateful glee and spitefullness?

A simple that probably not gonna happen would have sufficed.

Well maybe you right.
Some people might give a "good joke" and another understand that wrong.
We are still humans and we make mistakes :)

I was reading from Berget webpage something, about some time ago about Berget provided WiFi Network ? I diddnt find that whit fast search, but i suggest to try find about it more. If there is WiFi, there might be chance to get follow FIFA or whatever.

If you cant get on internet from berget, i suggest Laptop and pre-paid internet. In Finland, you can get USB-modem whit prepaid licence. It cost about 2Euro/day or 7Euro/week in Finland. I believe theres similiar of system in Sweden.

About following FIFA from internet, im not sure how that works. But here is one tip anyway. Laptop is more easier way, than TV whit antenna.
