I'm 100% with Wolf on this, but I don't really support armbands at all. Camo restrictions should be enough...

And I'm 100% Muller on that, armbands are the past and camo restrictions are the future.

I answered that already, there is nothing to stop you wearing an armband that meets or exceeds the same specifications instead of a patch. But most I think would choose a shoulder patch if given the option. That's not saying you HAVE to buy a new uniform.

Plus it would take 5 minutes with a needle to attach a velcro area on the shoulder.

nice ive been gone from the damn desktop about 2.5days and when i return its looks like an hot discusstion about an question if its okey to use an velcro square arm team based marker to an full out "skip the armband" discusstion.

My question is as it will state for now. Is it okey to use an team colored based patch zise 11x15cm velcro instead of an whole armband since we use difrent color team based uniforms. would be great if i could know in time so i can modify my armband for the games.

Stuntman. i have seen many players shooting eachother even when wearing full zised armband. just blindly running in the forrest with guns blazing, Real eazy. :D

You will have to bring/create your own armband. When constructing your own armband, it must be atleast 11 cm (4,3 inch) wide and have your induvidual teamnumber visable in black. Players without correct armband´s wont be allowed into the game-area.
Based on the rules I'd say NO, but you could mail BE who knows they might allow it...

You have misunderstood now a little bit, we are speaking now about armband rule in future, and what it sould be. This discussion will have no effect at B9 but maybe at B10 ;)

Afterall, it will be BERGET X, so something radical has to happen to start a new decade of Berget-Events.

Maybe a poll about keeping/changing armband rule, might be a good idea, and I hope that most of the ppl would cast their vote to get an accurate opinion of players.
Do we agree?

Maybe add an option "Get rid of darn armbands all together" :P

Poll's a good idea in theorie, but the actual forum crowd is like 20 people so that'd hardly represent the actual view of the general Berget public...

EDIT: As you can see we have discussed it thoroughly tho :P

It could be done as part of a poll during check in, together with other questions.

I vote for camo restrictions and removal of the red and blue armbands.

Desert/tan camo side use a tan armband with player number, Forest/OD camo use OD armbands with player number. Easy and invisible until a players number is needed by a game marshall.

About ACU and multicam I havent decided yet.

Please, can we change the civilian armband to only a single color next year.
This year I have to fire up the sewing machine again.

It's hard to find green/white striped velcro you know :)

Hello Michael,
you have several options for getting a green/white armband :
- go to a designer shop
- ask your girlfriend
- ask your wife
- ask your mother or -inlaw
- make it blo..... well yourself

1. Get hold of velcro like stundtman, or any wide velcro band.
2. find a spray can.
3. apply the color you'd like
4. Write number on it with a marker pen.
but before painting:
Close it so the centimeters of velcro you are using don't get paint on them, and works like normal velcro.

..tada.. armband for you
