Maybe PMC's / Bandits / (BlackOps posing as PMC's) should be a different faction from true civvies?

I think it´s important to be very clear about how the civilians should be treated. In my opinion "ethnic cleansing" (or whatever you want to call it) has no place in airsoft.
Look prick, stop suggesting what I think with your own words. I am trying to find a way how to mix LARP and airsoft in a most milsim way. And sue me for my past experiences.
Make a workable proposal and I will listen with interest...
Sooo... Name-calling because I don't share your opinion about what things belong i airsoft?
Did I misunderstand your prior post? As I understood it you justified those actions.

I've said my bit and given an improvement proposal. Try to make up a better one, preferably based on experience.

I'd appreciate if you let also others post and would not interpret my words for others again.

Cool down guys!
I don´t like ALL the actions that took place in JancoC that day! But i know that i couldn´t stop the game for that!
It has to be a security-matter!
I Don´t think eaven GM and BE-Crew would stop the game just for a "non-ethic-sake".
Still this is a good place to discuss this matter:

All that is whithin the rules are not restricted.
Remember that before start crying about anything.
Burning church with civilians is not restricted and is a great LARP moment. If you dont like to be part of LARP gameplay - "offgame" and quit.

I think that you are right, it should be (and is) allowed within the rules, but I think the main concern is that, even though they were in a war zone, the civilians were (for a few reasons) getting killed lots and not having a good time doing larp and interacting. At the end of the day we should want to interact with them and not go to war with them too as its more fun for us and them :)

I was merely trying to understand what you meant with your prior post. That´s is also the reason why there were a question mark at the end of the sentence. Please feel free to answer the question.
kjsaw wrote: I was not in the area when this happened, nor as a trustee can I say I am sure stopping it would have been within the role of a trustee (Mostly that role is about assisting berget to keep play fair within the scope of BE's rules, if I was there, by the time I was aware it was happening it would probably have been over).
You misunderstood my comment. My bad. I should have expressed myself more clearly. I didn´t mean that it was a Trustees responsibility to stop such action. I only considered that coming from a Berget Master Trustee such statements might by readers be perceived as the official BE viewpoint. I.e. BE has officially nothing against such actions.

That is my main question. Do we want it in airsoft just because crimes against humanity are commited during real war? Obi-San obviously thinks that it does provide some great LARP moments and I´m not saying that he is wrong and I am right. I think this is a very important discusson. The rules don´t say anything about what scenes are allowed during the LARP part of the game. In MY opinion that doesn´t mean that it is appropriate to LARP ethnic cleansing or rape during Berget.

What kind of experience are you referring to?

I fail to see in what way I´m obstructing others from posting. As I mentioned earlier in this post I´ve asked you in a prior post about the meaning of your earlier statement.

How about simulating executions, torchures and concentration camps? How about situations when people killing other people?
In YOUR opinion this is appropriate??
This discussion is just empty. In a war simulations war situations happens, and your opinion doesnt change anything, people go to berget just to feel how war feels, not to play flower fights.

Have I said that I find executions, torture and concentration camps appropriate?

I don´t go to Berget to experience what war feels like. If Berget felt like real war I´d be shitting myself and crying throughout the entire game. In my view airsoft can never feel like war.

Feel free to leave the discussion at any time if you find it empty.

And thank you for not being so narrow-minded.

So why dont you judge executions and torchures then?
They happen all the time on BE.
Or they are less evil?
