Want to make an air combat unit for NAF

Post by EagleDriver » 01 Feb 2012, 03:08

Since airsoft cannot re-create my previous military experience, I thought that I could mount an AEG in this:

These can be equipped for remote video downlink, heads-up display, and even be programmed to return and land if communication is lost.

:o ooohhh, great. if you could actualy fly this during the event, that would be perfect. at least as a reconnaissence aircraft. but if you will be able to mount an AEG on it and actualy hit something with it, it would be awesome. I would like to be fired at. Would feel like in real battle. :-D

Don't worry Waldo, with an AEG mounted, it would be an attack plane and not a spyplane! :D

But this is just awesome that someone could build this:

These guys spend more on their RC aircraft than they do on their cars. The turbine engines cost upwards of 3,000 USD each!

Another note is that there might be some idiots out there that would want to hit it with their AEG :/ Armed or unarmed, makes no differance to these people...

If it has an in-game effect, either fire support with an on-board AEG or just recon with a camera, it should be possible to shoot down.

Also, I don't think an RC aircraft mounted AEG would be very effective. Due to the limited range of the AEG, you would have a were small window of opportunity to fire at and hit your target before you have to break off to avoid crashing. Especially with all the trees at Härnösand.

Nice thing! But not allowed on Berget. Don't want to see a guy with a crashed A10 on his head

They are not mine. I wasn't an A-10 pilot anyways, that would have been too slow for me! :) This is what we call a tongue-in-cheek post.
