Polarstar/HPA replica's and Berget

Hi. I'm an American airsofter looking to attend an upcoming Berget game (Planning for B13), and there's one big issue/problem I keep thinking of when it comes to attending this event.

My main rifle is a Polarstar replica, and as I've read Berget does not have the support to re-fill air tanks at the game site. Additionally, bringing my personal air tank on the plane would be to much of a hassle due to the regulator.

So how many people that attend berget play with HPA/Polarstar guns? How do you keep them full of air for the event? Would you be ok with an American running with your squad at berget 13? (This is assuming you would be going of course)

Thanks!

Also if this is in the wrong section of the forums sorry :S

best way is to use marine tank 7l or something like that

Can you explain what a "marine tank 7l" is?

Any Google searches I do end up with either fish tanks or water storage. HPA, or high pressure air is what polarstar guns use to fire. Flying with HPA tanks is a pain (HPA tanks are used in paintball as well) and buying a scuba tank for 3 days is financially not possible for me.

best solution is to bring AEG replica. I dont think that anyone who use HPA guns will share air from their tanks. because everyone who brings HPA will use it for themselves. because you never know how much air you will need for entire game

AEG replica is indeed the easiest. You migh get lucky and find someone willing to lend you a tank, but Polarstars arent that common at Berget yet.

In this thread: viewtopic.php?f=155&t=7926
kastman says he will be able to fill your tanks with a air compressor (in the ravens base, but shurley someone in crew could perhaps do it)

If you cant fly with your gear maybe you can ask a Polarstar reseller about possibility to rent a tank an regulator while in sweden or maybe they can give a direction to where u could rent/borrow one? swedish reseller is http://tri9ty.com/index.php?route=common/home

even more you could register to the National swedish airsoftforum, most swedish players are there and even there u might find info on renting or borrowing och bringing an airtank and regulator.

It should be possible to rent a filled tank from a diving shop in sweden.

My mechanised company had ALOT of HPA guns. Both daytonas and polarstars.

I myself brought a 8litre diving tank+2 paintballtanks. Alot of guys in my company brought the same. Plus we had a compressor to fill the tanks:) Big thanks to Kastman!!

Im not sure if you are allowed to fly with a tank without a regulator. If not i would be happy to borrow you one of mine.

Just saw the rules update
"High pressure air guns - HPA
If you have a HPA-gun, you need to bring a Tournament Lock. The lock for pressure (at your tank's regulator) is vital to play at all, and the lock for selector is needed if you want to play with velocity above 130 m/s.
We will provide with some Locks on site but we can't guarantee to have them all.

Read more here https://ampedairsoft.com/tournament-locks/"

Does this mean that ALL HPA guns need such a lock, or does that mean that ONLY guns above 130 m/s needs it?
*confused*

All HPA-users should bring a tournament lock.

If you shoot 130 m/s and higher you also need a selector lock.

Is locking the PolarStar FCU enough for semi lock?

My MG is already locked to full auto only, so no worries there.

Hey guys!
Berget 2017 is on its way and there are new options for HPA (more specific, the wolverine Wraith C02 stock for M4's or BOLT snipers)
Since they are not using exclusively a tank (although, they have the posibility to work with a tank in matter of seconds) but instead a CO2 capsule, my question is on how will it be to use tournament locks on them? Any ideas=?
