UA17 and THE RAVENS are defintly not the same.
THE RAVENS are guerillas with their on agenda and goal.

There are no agressors in LERANDO at this point.
But I see a dark cloud on the horizon growing bigger every day.
That dark cloud is warmachines.
Warmachines that will tear the peace apart.

The name of the warmachine is Global Counter Terrorist Taskforce.
They will bring war not peace to LERANDO.
And We need to stop that from happening.

Wow.

If you could take all the bullshit that is being created here on the internet, and transfer it to the real world, you could fertilize all of Lerando's farms for an entire year with all that dung.

No aggressors? Fact? Let's drop a few facts here:

Ravens
- Lerando had a legitimate government, until the Ravens group rose to power.
They:
- bombed police stations
- attacked (Lerando) military facilities
- abducted civilians
- "conquered" smaller villages and settlements to force the inhabitants to either work for them or even join their "army"

When all this wasn't enough, they went into an all-out open war against the Lerando government and authorities, raided public institutions, took entire trains, then schools and finally entire villages hostage until what remained of the public order crumbled. The figures of people, both officials and (in even larger numbers) civilians, killed in this conflict so far range in the thousand!

Now, most of Lerando's civilian population has fled the larger cities and is mostly living in small villages and makeshift encampments scattered all across the countryside. Those who couldn't leave all their belongings behind, because they had a farm, a family or livestock to tend to, are either forced to work for the Ravens' mercenaries, or they live in constant fear of the Ravens 'death squads' who roam the countryside freely and are free to harm, or kill, anyone whom they think does not support them enough.

Drugs
Lerando was once a flourishing economy, which was pretty much left alone by the rest of the world and had fairly good trading connections even outside the country. Then came the Ravens, replaced crops with drugs, and all the official trade routes went dry. Instead, the country started 'exporting' drugs on a large scale - and the money that came from this dirty trade remained in the hands of just a few. Now the main produce of the once-proud Republic of Lerando, drugs, is threatening the rest of the world, along with killing so many people of Lerando already. The Ravens have actually succeeded in making Lerando itself be an aggressor to the rest of the world through the drugs it injects into the world's veins.

- Remember India (several hundred dead, UA17 claims responsibility)
- Remember El Loco Airport in Spain (200 dead, 350 wounded, UA17 claims responsibility)
You might've also missed all their internet videos where they demand 'every third man or woman in the urban tumours that you call cities slain', or that public announcement of that UA17 leader, telling the urbanized world to "rest assured in your beds at night, only to know that UA17 will do violence and not sleep". The only reason why the UA17 might (and I'm not sure they haven't, just haven't seen any reports) not have struck in Lerando yet is because the Ravens have already destroyed anything Lerando had for an urban environment, and drove people to live out in the wild again.

The dude's got a point...

Then again, if I grow their poppies, they'll guard my farm against thieves and anti-poppy folk.
They don't pay too much for the poppy milk, but pound per pound it's still a better income than corn.

And that's the actual issue!

The drug trade and all that may slowly destroy the land and its people (and yeah, it's a threat to the rest of the world as well, but as I said, Lerando has done quite well being left alone by the world for ages, and they can't really care for what happens in the rest of the world if they have enough problems right at their doorstep), but right now, it is the only alternative, both because it pays better and because it helps you stay alive if you do the things the guys with the guns tell you to do.

So frankly, if GCT can't bring stability and safety to the region, and make sure the Lerando citizens can go about their business in security and farmers can grow their crops - and if the UN trade commission can't make sure that growing crops instead of drugs pays off for the farmers - then the entire thing is just a plain media war to show who's boss...

So GCT will have to prove if they can really provide protection and bring peace to the people of Lerando.

You see, people of Lerando are just simple people.
And all this words - terrorists, drugs... It's only information war.

Brussel, yes it was UA17.
India, yes it was UA17.
El Loco Airport in Spain, yes it was UA17.
As You all can see We have the power and will to do such a thing as Brussel, India or El Loco Airport.

And yes, ordinary people of LERANDO can sleep in their beds confortly knowing that UA17 will not do violence on them.
