No problem if you had a mosquito net and some basic repellant.

Much less of a problem than I expected. They respected repellent quite well. My most bitten areas are around my wrist where I did not want to apply DEET next to my GPS. The small f-kers (knots?) were worse but they stayed also away with some repellent.

There were barely any mosquitoes or gnats compared to what I'm used to or what I expected. But just for the precaution I used a repellant a few times to my hands since I used only t-shirts most of the time.

Mosqitoes & knott were quite tolerable this year. I was a little surprised when I learned that some repellants work only for mosqitoes and are ignored by those small flies. I avoided using repellants most of the time, but once tried my friend's repellant on Friday when we got into an area full of knott a little below Ravens' base, and it worked fine (its instruction mentioned mosqitoes, small flies and large flies).
