Information about the incident with Banning of a player.

Post by Berget-events » 29 Jun 2015, 19:14

We will make an official statement about the sad situation that led to a player no longer welcome to play at Berget. We ask you , however, have patience regarding this statement when we have not finished talking with all involved parties and witnesses yet.

With respect to all concerned , we will not publish any names or nicknames of any of those involved.

/ Berget Crew

*UPDATED 2015-10-18"
After thorough deliberation we have come to a verdict in this matter. Berget Events will never tolerate violence on our events, no matter what provocation or incidents leading up to it. Our standard action will always be an immediate ban from the current game, followed by a more thorough investigation and decisions on further penalties after the game has ended. All incidents are treated on a case-to-case basis and this is why the handling time might sometimes be considered lengthy. As per our standing policy we do not disclose any pertinent information regarding matters like these without the consent from any and all involved parties. It is enough to say that everyone involved have been informed and we do now consider this matter closed.

Do Berget want players to attend 2016?
Then you need to step up and do something!

2015 was a big series of bad decision from Berget Crew.

Still awaiting a decision on the matter, which determines if 40+ players will visit Berget next year

Guys, I'm sure BE is sorting things out as we speak. No need to start threatening them with not showing up, they are well aware of that.

Just patiently wait until they've got all the facts, discussions, and decisions ready for release.

Besides, it might not be that great of a loss, depending who the 40+ people are.
Threats doesn't exactly help on that.

Important to remember that an incident like this does not only apply for Berget, it will follow that individual back to his own club and airsoft community. (Romours etc etc.)

Its important that BE does this correctly, and I think thats what they are trying to do. Plus, talking to all players involved, meaning cross nationality etc. Tings Take Time.

Pluss, its between Berget and that particullar player. Strickly speaking, we only need to know the final outcome.
