Well I guess someone needs to bring this topic

I am assuming most people will want a team patch apart from the Berget one as a memento/souvernir.

And as we also know these patches can take some time to be produced so the sooner one gets designed and ordered the better chances there are of actually getting one.

I am totally graphically design inept and would probably end up looking like something that someone threw up, however I'll happily help out anyway I can.

The only question is are we going for a general team based one, an outfit one or both?

Is it that time already?

any news on this?
any designs?

Well, someone needs to design it to make it happen.

I doubt there will be much competition design wise, so if someone does it and sets up the order, im sure people will be happy to buy em.

I have a suggestion regarding this. Given that we work around the fact that someone actually have to take the time and interest to design it, taking in orders, and then sending the design off to production, so could that take alot of time and also result in people not ordering the patch. And, there will be alot of administration for the person, or persons, who actually take it upon themselves to do this.

What I suggest is that we chose a patch that already exists. That way, each and everyone can buy/order the patch themselves. Will everyone bother to get a patch? Perhaps not, but if all one have to do is to go onto a site and order a patch for 3,5 euro (or buy it in a store) then chances are that many will. As we know so is there a number of patches that can be found all over Europe, and would be easy for people to obtain.

This way, one or a few people just have to decide upon a patch and post an image and a URL, then we players can take it from there.

Cheap, and its possible (as in our case) to have the same basic design but with different colours (for different units, if we want that).

Nordic Alliance is not a new thing, just look up the Kalmar Union. Mayde we could derive some inspiration there? Just add something form Finland there maybe.

That is true. Going on that theme, we could just settle on a subdued Finnish, Danish or Swedish flag (7cm) and have it in dark cross and light fields or the other way around.

Quite easy to find online or in shop.

My Design team (several volunteers who happen to be Graphic Designers) is already underway designing and refining it, They'll have the design done within 2 weeks xD.

Cool idea!! last year, the Germans from the GCT Mechs designed a patch and brought several of them to BE, giving them away for 5 Euros i think. It was a big run on that patches, so if somebody takes the time to design some of them, i think he will be able to sell most of the patches imediatley

We also had one designed, and had a sponsor pay for the production

Hi there

So we are under way of creating a patch for our battalion. Here is one patch with the Nordic countries flags. Of course you may change the background colors etc.

One of my guys has come up with several ideas and is looking for feedback - I have some of mine own which I will voice directly to him. Also worry not - I'll fix his latin xD.

I would maybe ad little bit of colour and detail to animals, maybe make the rim and animal from different colours? I downloaded Gimp and tried to do design of my own, but hey: when graphic design is not one of your skills it is not .
