Few teams used it on NAF past few years.

It depends what team you are going for.

regarding question #2, a Ghillie would be a camo that uses MOSTLY vegitation or vegitation-like cover ... and your example would therefor not be allowed if you go for a team where ghillie is not allowed.

The reason is that a ghillie cover up too much of your original camo, making it hard/impossible to spot, and its also an immersion issue :)

Since 3D Leaf Jackets are very common nowadays I think it would be clever to make a clear statement about their classification. Are they classified as ghillie and so available only for troops who are allowed to use ghillies?

ok to explain my question
1. multicam as pants (blue side camo) and a OD shirt (red side camo) but as you mostly dont see the shirt as you got plate carrier or other gear on top does it really matter?

2. its not really a ghille suit as you just take vegetation that you find around you and just stick it on your self and not man made things as ghille suits are

Don't want to be a superb milsim-reality-fuckhead-asshole (which I actually am), but tbh IRL mixed camouflages are used only rarely in armed forces except some very special guys who can select all their gear by themselves. Of course PMC is completely different thing since private companys will buy their shit by themselves and that way they will wear what they have/what they want.

Mercenaries could wear all kinds of mix'n'match- uniforms (of course going by the rules stated by BE) and UPIR could _possibly_ wear mix'n'match, but since they seem to be more like a private army than private military company (which kinda is the same of course) it is possibly better idea to restrict the uniforms to be both same color with shirt and pants.

I think it would be good idea to restrict the mix'n'match uniforms for at least so that one cannot wear camos from both main factions but can mix'n'match uniforms from their prerequired camouflages. If they can mix'n'match at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love to mix'n'match uniforms myself and I think those variations are really cool but I think it is the worst possible idea to let people mix n match from UPIR and NAF camos. Ghillies are a different story and if I got it right BE will restrict the use of ghillies for only recon units.

2. Something that consist of mostly vegation-like camo, or something that cover your initial camo is not allowed in teams were ghillies are not allowed.

But it is much easier if you just show a Picture of exactly what you want to wear. Generally people need to be able to see what kind of camo you have from a distance. If you look like a Walking pile of leaf , its a ghillie. If i can see your uniform but it have some leaf over it, its fine. GENERALLY :)

1. No you cannot wear OD on top if its on the opposing teams camo list. not even if your vest or other gear.
Why? cause such is the rules and of majority of the people would ignore this there would be (more) chaos on the field.

wait, all my tactical gear like vests and plate carriers are ranger green or OD, dont tell me i have to replace them now if i want to go NAF

2. i mean to use something called Viperhood that is basicly a molle kind webbed hood to stick leafs and grass on to for camo...

Color of tactical gear has never been limited. As long as you have a uniform thats allocated to your faction, you can use a pink vest if you want...

To Xenowolf
1.
Camo rules apply to Uniform (they should actually be called Uniform Rules) and uniform has to be according o your team.
what you then have on your combat gear, underwear, socks, etc is up to you as L4gi said.
Combinations in Uniform is allowed within your own teams selection of Camos.

2.
Viperhood, leaf/3d suit, Ghillie goes under the same rules, with or without natural/Synthetic materials.
(though i have seen people putting whole shrubberys on their helmets and shoulders being almost the same as the above and i rule that as the same anyway)

To GBB Regarding MULTICAM TROPIC
Multicam tropic goes under Multicam and such is NAF as it was last year.

Thank you all for clearing it out for me as i had people in my unit that wanted to use viper hood and OD tops as all of our gear is either Ranger Green or OD but i will make sure they use full uniforms and no camo/ghille like gear

So just to be clear: it is ok to have a multicam uniform and the gear in flecktarn?
