to get your hands on 2. and 3. gen Mill class NVG sets is very hard, and VERY expensive, and hard to get.
Even if you are serving in the armed forces it is hard to find 3. and 4th gen sets in a price that is affordable.
I know about a 3rd gen set availiable, at a cost of 11'000 USD so you get the picture:P
Go for a 1st gen + set, some of them are better than the standrd 2. gen sets availiable!

imothep is right dude...you're gonna be paying a LOT of cash for anything over Gen 1 but here's a link to a website I've used a lot in the past anyway. These guys will treat you right and they have really good customer service.
