In the North East US there's pretty much a good standard:

AEGs and GBBs up to 400FPS with .25s (full auto) with a minimum engagement rule of 10 feet...

Sniperrifles (or SWS) can shoot up to 550 (or possibly 600, cant remember) with .25s (I think)... but at some fields you'll need to take and pass a sniper-course to amke sure you'll be shooting safely in the field... (minimum angagement is, I THINK 30 feet)

but the rules are set, follow or dont attend ;)

I agree to Ruby!
What habbens if you accidentaly hit someones face with 600fps? Not nice we go there to have fun not to go home as smurfs (all over blue).

I think ruby is saying that he likes faster rifles, because no airsoft rifle can shoot 210meters.

Airsoft rifles can shoot 210 m/s or faster if they're well built. Guess what the 210 stands for in first factorys SP210 springs.

You are right JJ. I know a lot of people with high tuned AS-Guns. If you guys are interested in the DK-MilSim Rules, which we use in Germany too, then go to http://www.milsim.dk. You will find there a lot of rules for an interesting, tactical and military-style game.

edit: Updated my other post. I forgot Savety Distances.

All right, folks, just to avoid confusion, please remember that the Milsim DK rules posted above DO NOT apply to Berget 5.

Just to make sure nobody misunderstands.

hey guys, you' re all extreme gamers. :?
AEG at 400fps.. are you mad ??

In France, we have others standards:
AEGs:
330 fps SingleAction in urban areas
350 in forest

non-bolt snipers:
400-450 fps max

bolt snipers:
500-550 fps.

Im not playing with full face protection ('cause of the style) and I already lost teeth; its enough to get such powers on our BBs.
For those that complain, I tell them to join the Army; in the end its just a game... :)

Alternatively, people could just look at the incredibly clear trim limits we've set and clearly posted in the rules section. Those are the rules that apply, and there's really little point in debating them.

(For what it's worth, turret, I agree - there's no reason for ridiculously over-cranking AEGs.)

the point here is, what is ridiculous for some might pretty well be sound for others. that's why we have the rules, don't we? :)

Lube included or do we provide our own? :D

Please restrain yourself from promoting such behaviour, we have rules to respect and that is it. You are shoving nothing there!
