Chroning

Would you consider allowing those of us who have our own or access to chronographs to fill out and submit a form where we guarantee our weapon's muzzle velocity and class before the event instead of having them tested on site?

To me it sounds as if the weapon testing might be a real bottleneck during check in. If you intend to test all weapons you are looking at 1200 participants multiplied by two minutes per participant which gives you a total time of 2400/60 = 40 hrs. Assuming you have 5 chronograph stations you are looking at a total of 8 hrs (best case scenario?). From a practical viewpoint it would be better to just test the guns of players who have not been able to do that themselves. Then you also do some random testing mostly to discourage anyone from submitting false information. And if someone really wants to cheat its not very difficult for them to swap spring or cylinder after check in so having a few random tests during the game wouldn't hurt either.

At least that's common sense in my opinion.

At TA4 chronoing was done in less than an hour with three chrono's, on 250 people.

So I would say - it is possible and I would prefer lending my own chrono rather than having an unchecked AEG in game.

Also, I think organizers will do random checks during the game, there is always someone who fails to understand the word fairplay affects all aspects of airsoft, not only taking hits.

Getting chrono work done has not been a problem at previous berget events. Check in will be open from early Thursday (I have heard checkin will not be possible on Wednesday as well).

If I recall correctly, at b4 I was checked in and chrono'd within 15 minutes.

Checkin and chroning will begin on wednesday for those early arrivals.
On thursday, the chroning will not be done at checkin but in the respective bases.
