Shooting Range

Post by JJ » 30 May 2007, 12:34

Will there be a shooting range in the allied base? Thought it would fit the mood nicely having one since people generally end up tuning or test firing their weapons and it looks rather silly when it's done without a proper firing range.

And some metallic targets that you can hear when you hit.

MP are planning to put one together - anyone who wants to help us out or contribute to its construction in any way should feel free; any help would be appreciated. We need the following:

- Firing line
- Targets
- Measuring tape
- Barricade tape

I have a 50 m measuring tape but my arrival time is not yet decided. I'll get back to you when I know that.

And maybe berget crew can sponsor this project with the materials needed?

if when making this, your snipers could be considered as far as distance goes, that would be greatly appreciated.

at what range do you consider the airsoft snipers to be able to shoot accurately.

Then the question is whether we go for running man targets or bullseye targets. I have a few places to look for either.

You could take target from my site
and print if you want

I think the number of running man targets would be minimal. The biggest reason for the range is to sight in your weapons, and bullseye targets are the only way to do that.

Doff I'm not so sure the problem lies only in printing targets...
