Beerparty FAQ

Post by Hampa » 03 Jun 2007, 18:41

Hopefully no one has missed the announcements about this year's afterparty. For clarification, I will post some info for you all here. For any further questions, just send me a PM and I will try to answer ASAP.

When?
The party will be on Sunday the 17th of June, and the gates will be open from 1500 to 0200.

Where?
It will be held at Mellanholmen in central Härnösand.

Entertainment?
Two different bands will be playing during the evening. First our local singer Martina and her band “Hotspots” will perform. Later the famous cover band “MusikPolisen” will rock our socks off. There will also be a big-screen TV showing some nice airsoft movies.

Drink?
We will be serving a number of drinks, including beer, cider and soft drinks, for the lowest prices in Härnösand.
The prices will be:

500 ml Beer - 30 SEK
500 ml Cider - 30 SEK
330 ml soft drink - 15 SEK

(I can understand that many of you may have a hard time seeing these prices as cheap, but please keep in mind that the average price for beer at pubs around here is around 40 SEK.)

Food?
There will be an all-you-can-eat mixed grill buffet with both prime beef (cutlet) and chicken (whiskey-glazed chicken breast). They will be served with oven-baked thyme potatoes, with a choice of bearnaise or hot barbecue sauces. There will also be an extensive salad buffet, dressings and of course bread and butter.

Our chef has promised us a culinary experience for both eye and mouth.

Beer drinking contest?
As announced there will be a beer drinking contest during the night. This will be run by our beatiful hostesses. As we have already said, it will not involve drinking as much as possible, but downing a single beer as quickly as possible. The beer that the contestants will be drinking is also the famous Swedish “lättöl” which has a very low alcohol percentage. There will be a small entry fee to cover both our fine prizes as well as the actual beer.

Tickets?
We have a very limited amount of tickets, and many have already been sold to people in and around Härnösand. Therefore we strongly recommend that you prebook your tickets at http://www.berget-events.com/b5/party

There will however be a handful of tickets left that can be bought at game checkin; our hostesses will be at the checkin areas between 1000 and 2100 on Thursday the 14th.

Prices are:
150 SEK for entrance, all-you-can-eat buffet and one drink.
50 SEK for entrance only.

If I wasn't sold on the idea before, you had me with the potato. Oooh yes. Barbecue and tatties... I'll bring my vinegar.

By the way, when you say "beautiful hostesses"...

...we're not talking about Spof and Timpa in cocktail dresses, are we?

(Oh, and I must apologise profusely for putting that image in people's heads. Sorry 'bout that.)

This will be a really great.. event after a, hopefully, even greater event. :D

Spof and Timpa can dress up as Swedish "Inga´s".

Good initiative on the choice of beer for the contest, I will definately participate in it.

30 SEK = about 3.20 Euro (for 0.5L beer)

I have expected higher prices, this is good news! :D :P
In the Netherlands it is sometimes even more expensive
