What is the upper limit for bolt action weapons. The rules just state that the safety distance above 180 m/s is 35 meters.

if you wonna 180m/s or more, you should use only bold action rifles, such as Tanaka m700 or TM VSR10

why freakin' hurt people?

a 450-550 FPS rifle will do FINE... no need to really go higher...

I will keep my CA 36 the way it came out of the box enough energy and later maybe a tuning (barrel or so) but nothing increasing the energy. I play this for fun not for terror!
Anyway I am responcible for every round I fire so i have to be sure not to harm anyone more then nessecary!

I think 6uarq;an is right. Playing with extreme high FPS is dangerous and for me it does not make any sense.
Personnally I think for normal players 300-400 FPS is ok. For snipers 450 -550FPS. All above is too high.

Remember this: 199/ms with 0,20 BB´s...not any other. We will chronograph all guns at checknin.

A gun with 199/ms with 0,20, will do like 140-150 m/s with 0,46 BB`s

switzerland has nice rules:

-350 FPS: Fullauto; no distance
350-450: semi auto, no distance
450-550: semi auto, 20 Meters of distance

all FPS @ 0.20g

tolerance is +/-15 fps

cheers
