Food

What have people got planned for eating at b5?

I am a big fan of staying in-game the whole time, so I will be repeating what i did at b4 and packing MRE's (I somehow, actually don't mind eating them, as long as its only for a short period of time...)

We were planning to use MRE's as well.. However I'm having trouble finding enough vegetarian MRE's. Does anyone have tips on where to find some?

Matherion
Try the norweigan or some other dryfood alot easyer to find and often alot cheaper then MREs.

Start by checking out Naturbolaget in Kalmar ;)

at b4 I got a mix of US and Brit rations from;

Brit Rations
http://www.soldierstuff.co.uk/index.php ... 3c6ed65a12

MRE
http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/product2cons ... ns%20Packs

Postage was a bit of a killer, in both cases the postage cost a bit more then the packs themselves!

This time round I was fortunate enough to be in New York last week and I hit a few surplus stores till i found what i wanted. You other option is Ebay, thought in many cases ebay US users will not ship these internationally. I have been told some of the scandinavian rations are not too bad, so that might be a better option if the budget is limited.

In germany there is probably a good supply of MRE's comming out of the US units there.

MRE has a fairly long shelf life, and the surplus onces are often good for some time after the military makes the surplus.
