Chaos factor & time

Post by Spof » 21 Oct 2009, 19:06

Like Murphys law i recall the chaos factor for all time planning during Berget events. You need to be able to coop with some or lots of delays during the game. Berget crew are working their asses off 24/7 to get things in the right place at the right time.

BUT... this is where the Chaos factor kicks in... things will go wrong, food will get deliverd late, ingame-convoys will be late, some missons will be late etc.

You will need to be mentaly prepared for this, if things go wrong get the info up/down your chain of command or to a crewmember. Try to adapt to the situation and solve/help the problem yourself if possible.

The Key is information and patience.

You mean like hunting a GPS signal only to hunt it to offzone because someone from GM told me the mission starts at midnight and at 1am the damn thing was still with you? Yah, we're used to that kind of thing 8)

Brujo, ;-)
Just reminded of quickly mutating in colour and size canister with the tank fuel, which was a subject to recover during one of the BE crew supplied additional tasks ;-)

In most cases Chaos factor applies, but not in you case. You misstook our GPS-tracker with Dekkis Gameboy, played supermario level 1-1 untill you where in safezone. :D

Well, who on earth expects armed conflict to run on a fixed schedule anyway. (Or nice enemies follow timetables..)

Or like one night in BE7 SRP went up on a roadside ridge and waited god knows how long for an NATO convoy to ambush in the middle of the night and to only find out that we had stayed there for nothing since NATO for some reason or another had been too busy to arrenge the convoy or some such. Yup these things tend to happen. 8)
