Civilian cars in base.

For Saftey reasons we give the permission to a few particpants to have civilian cars inside the base with green tarpas cover.

Pre game, players are allowed to park inside the base to get their equipment there but please keep in mind that you will need to park at the offgame area before game on.

Offgame cars ruin the base atmosphere and do not belong ingame.

Will all the bases have an adjacent parking lot?
I'm asking this since last year we used our vans quite alot for offgame shuttles be it injured or exhausted players (and not only from our team), and also for provisions from Harnosand.

Moiners,

I am so damn happy about it! Words can not describe how.

I hate the impression of having civil cars during the game in the base for what reason ever. They belong on the parking lot. Have them in the base will ruin not just the athmo.

Thank You Berget, for pointing that out and setting an end to that spoiler.

Have fun,

BM

The rules with green tarps must be held up by BE crew and also restrictions on number of offgame vehices.

a real downer for the game last time was all offgame vehicles standing around in the Nato base.

Also i think that if you park your car inside base-area and dont protect it then you cannot complain if people starts taking cover behind them, beacuse then they have not followed the rules regarding vehicles inside game area.

Parking a car in the restricted area is really not a wise thing. Covering it will make it safer for the car. And that is the only way that the players recognize those cars.

Remember a ingame car that's been taken out needs to respawn for repair and must have visible "dead rags". It cant do anything but drive directly to home base. It can never act as "Ghost transport".

what. ghost cant go with ghost even if they have the same start and end location?

I think he means that Ingame players cannot take a hitch with an Offgame(shot out) vehicle. That would be cheating since other players see the vehicle as Offgame/Dead and then counts that anyone riding in it would be the same.(ingame players in offgame vehicle = Ghost transport)

am i right?

To clarify, is the case that;

A - A vehicle that's been taken out (a dead vehicle) can not act as a transport for anyone, dead or alive. Its driver can drive it back to spawn, but that's it.

or

B - A dead vehicle can not drive in-game players (ie. alive players) around, but it can bring its dead passengers with it back to spawn.

definitely answer B

Agree with B, because it is how I experienced other games with "dead" vechiles and players.
Seems very rude not to take up or transport other dead players back to the same spawn in the team (of course).

As long as the ability to see that the vehicle is out of battle and the players that is on it is out also!

Last year we had an incident in-game where one of the missile vehicles passed one checkpoint sporting an enemy flag AND an orange rag and then shot the next checkpoint.
I don't know what BE did with the incident but we (at the second checkpoint) were very upset - especially since the first checkpoint informed us that a DEADRAGGED vehicle is approaching.

The big vehicles like the TGB and TGB40 (missile vehicle) are all controlled
by BE Crew, so i guess the only ones to answer for that is BE crew :?:

But why dig up the bones from last year when we have a whole new fantastic game to look forward to this year

Parking civilian vehicles in an in game base does not only ruin the game spirit for every one, but could also means a high risk of damages to the car.

Experience shows that team bases will be attacked, cars will end up in the line of fire, and they will be hit.

If you leave your car parked in a ingame area which is almost guaranteed to be the site of a large and intensive fire-fight you only got yourself to blame, not the guy taking cover behind it, or the guys shooting at him.
