My best moment was definately the heavy defending of "the rocks" by the SRP base. Four hidden amongst the rocks we took out so many SRP we stopped counting. An hour later only were we overran, I was the last man standing and got a hit in my weapon. Since I was a mercenary, I surrendered and did everything (EVERYTHING) to save my life. And I did too, not sure but I think I was the only prisoner that the SRP released. Thanks for that, Olli

The Bashir city life was my second best ... well not exactly moment, it was a period rather hehe. I only wish NATO would stick to their assumed ROE and not seal off the city... this would attract more players to play the roulette with me :)

Beerparty was great and funny.

Best moment was when our platoon tried to ambush a NATO checkpoint near SRP base. Me, my teammate and our photographer walked into the checkpoint while the rest of our platoon set out to both sides of the road. The idea was to trick all the NATO guys to line up for a group photo and then smoke the ass of them. To bad the NATO guys were professionals and our plan went bad from the beginning.

We were then set aside and some norweigan guys were guarding us. It was by far the best larp i've been in and atleast it saved my day. I told stories about my father, who used to own The Old Mine. One evening he got drunk, beat up my mother and went to Bashir City Casino and lost the mine. Since then i was unemployed and therefore joined the SRP. Fifteen minutes later i was lying on the ground besides a NATO guy, shot in the stomach by my own guys, puking up blood and yelling "I FORGIVE YOU DAD! I FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID!". Best.. moment.. ever :)

The best Berget 7 moment was of course when the strippers washed cars in Bashir City. Me and almost my whole team sat on the roof of the bar with Binoculars wisteling and shouting. I even got a blowkiss! :D

my best moment was when I was uncapping unguarded NATO strategic points (travellers lodge & miners hut) several times as a civilian and killing all those respawning guys...sorry NATO you shouldn't have confiscated my drugs on the first day :P

My greatest moment was when our platoon was ordered to assault a NATO roadblock on the big intersection near our base (same battle as per atlazes description). Our unit advanced very close to the evil natodudes and attacked.
We ran round them inflicting casualties all over the place, but were routed a little later by a NATO unit that shamelessly assaulted us from the rear. I was on point when that happened and since our unit scattered and withdrew, I was left alone amidst the enemy. Must have made a world record crawling performance when the decadent western imperialists were running amok just a couple of meters in front of me.
When I was just about to make my escape, a lonesome NATO medic almost walked on me and I yelled "Youre dead natoman, i dont dare shoot you this close!"

My gun shoots around 140m/s so it was a shivalrious thing to do. The guys face was somethíng that i will take with me to the grave!

And to all the fighters in the finnish contingent: ÄYRÄPÄÄ!

My best part was being taken hostage by a Russian group of Milos Tigers at 'The Bunker' on the first night.
They were most courteous and some of the best captors I've ever had.

That, and EVERY briefing from Wormbyte.
That man could motivate the dead.

Radar wrote:My most ridiculous moment:
On saturday: me and a squad of about 15 Mercs decided to take a vacation (from all our Merc duties) and head for Bashir to spend some money and check out the city (some of us hadn't even been there yet).
So we put our guns on our backs and head down the road. After a while we encounter a group of Natos approaching from a side road. We all put our hands in the air and scream that we're non hostile/on vacation/on our way to the city etc. The Nato soldiers speaks hurriedly at each other, waving their arms as they do it and we realize that they're Italian. My mind goes ">.<"
After some nasty looks and more arguing they tell us to remove our magazines and empty the barrels of our guns. We do as they say and our squad leader declare all our weapons as "confiscated." We are still not allowed to leave and after a minute or two the f*cking Italian Nato ass wipes knife kills our whole team!
So much for rules of engagement/peace keeping duties etc..

Ps: Nato has wallhack..

You are completely right i was the squad leader of that squad, i remember you. I am ashamed what the commander order me to do, i think he doesn't really undertsand how to play a role...
I apologize and I hope you haven't a bad idea of all the italian people, because we are not like this...

My best moments:

- Defending the "rock" near the SRP base for about an hour under the relentless pounding of mortars and finns trying to overrun our positions. I was lying on my back, "sandwitched" between two rocks, picking targets and changing mags like crazy while ants chewed our asses. In the end, we were shooting the assaulters from 2-3 meters (360fps in my case), but the rest still couldn't spot us. I was the last man to go down before Bravo 2 commander, Brujo. Excellent fight, hats off to the SRP! I couldn't ask for more honest and skilled opponents!

- Falling armpit deep into one of the mud holes, then taking over the Bunker at the crossroads/lakes without a single shot, then walking back to HQ in all the muddy gear.

- Playing hide-and-seek, gun-and-run with SRP guys around their base for hours.

- Getting almost caught with the pants down: a full-SRP squad running toward my position while I was taking a hasty "combat dump". :)

One of my favorites:
Sitting as a forward outpost downhill by the main road, hearing some fighting that's been going on for an hour or so.
Then suddenly loud bangs that wasn't airstrikes, then i heard an engine sound i was nog familiar with in our camp.
I got up, put on my gear and saw a tank driving past me, i run towards the base yelling "YURI ATTACKING! THE RUSSIANS ARE ATTACKING WITH TANKS!".

I ran up to Kris, told him what was up. He yelled after some AT4's, ran away, picked one up by DirtySouthDeltas car, came back and asked: "Okay, does anyone know how to use this?".
We looked at eachother kinda stypid, Kris grunted, shoved me his M16 and ran off chasing the tank.

So it was YOU who made me run my arse off a dozen times!

Cheers from the guy with a home-made wooden rifle. You gave me fun for hours :D

I'd definately have to say that the best moment for me in Berget was when I realized my calling in the 'airsoft world' as a medic. The first day and a half I did the normal infanty thing but half way through the second day I took over the roll from one of our company members as a medic. Most of the time I would drop my gun off somewhere and charge into enemy fire to drag the wounded to cover so I could heal them. I got a hell of an adrenalin rush doing that and had a total blast. There were several times that people would grab me and haul me back behind the front line so I wouldn't get my ass shot off.

I had a lot of fun interacting with the other medics at Berget and I would like to thnka all the ones that helped me out as well.
