Out of the sleeping bag I meant, not outside the tent.

On the "stuff your clothes in your feet and your body heat will dry them" part we will have to agree to disagree. Clothing will not dry if its left in a pile anywhere let alone your sleeping bag. Any cotton on them and they'll be soaked.

Take from it what you want, I know I'll be sleeping like a log for the few hours im given the opportunity.

I agree about the wet clothes. DON´T store those in the bag you sleep in, a shure way to catch something nasty.
I personally ment dry clothes.
It´s nice to have warm pants and jacket when you get up if it´s cold..

or try modular sleeping bag (USMC modular sleeping bag)

one goretex bivy against humidity dust etc and extrem cold weather, one normal sleeping (-5 / 15 ° C) one lighter but build with extreme cold condition to put in the normal sleeping bag (-20 / 10 ° C) ans you will surely not have a use in sweden but it's a polar textile bag you could on you in the modular system :)

and if it's too hot :) unzip the sleeping bag :)

i have the Recon 4 -10 degrees and didn't burn/freeze/whatever.
you strip down to your undies and then if its cold - you cover yourself, if its colder - you zip the zipper, if its hot you uncover yourself.

The WORST thing is when at 4am your bladder says: Get the fck out into the freezer and empty me... what a spoil hehe.

Re sleeping, I used a military bed in the BE tent last year, was cool since I had most of my gear stored underneath so others had more room.

Sleeping bag? Snugpak SF2 ftw.

A foldable military field bed is the best choice you can make. You are off the ground and store your stuff under it. They are not expensive and do you the world of good. :)

At the 8th of may, we where playing a 2day-game, and slept outdoor. I had possabuillity to sleep in a tent, but most slept in the forrest. Temperature was around zero, during night and some snow left on the ground. Sleepingbag with comfort-temp slightly below zero was quite enough. During Berget-week, should temperature be better and snow will be gone. Still you need to prepare for EVERYTHING! ;-)
